I'm taking AB year after next.

Same. Except I loved all math before 9th grade. 2 was a complete nightmare, but I got through. Geometry isn't too bad I'm doing pretty good. I'm great with trig, but that was only one chapter ya know, even though we sort of still use it, but not a lot. But yeah, same goes for me that I hate math as well. So yeah, I'm on the same track as charaman as you could tell by now. SonicChaos, you make me worried about my senior year. :|

I'm just telling it to you how it is. If you don't put forth the effort in Calculus, you won't get good results. I only got by because of my natural intellect. Not bragging, just saying.

We don't use that dumb A > F system. We use the 10 > 1 system.[/B]
Umm... This didn't quite answer my question. What does "AB" and the like translate into? Like, advanced, or remedial, or what? And we don't really use the A > F system, we use a percentage system. It's just easier for me to type A instead of 90%-100% range.

I´m good at geometry and trigonometry...the rest I suck at. But I´m good at history, portuguese, english, chemestry, and biology. Physics contain too much calculating, so I´d be contradicting myself if I said I´m good at it.

EDIT: BTW, that´s a pretty nasty picture to put in a test hehe...I´d laugh most of the time...

Algebra 1-2: You go through the whole book
Algebra AB: You go halfway through
Algebra CD: You do the second half

I f***in hate my school though. I passes last year with a low C, but because some dumbasses keep taking in more stadents than are graduating, we run out of class room and get put in the wrong classes. I know a guy that has Geometry and had a 17% in Algebra 1-2.

 My grades are:
 Math - 5.5
 Physics - 10.0

 So, I'm Mr. Contractiorus.

I actually knew those two, since I've been in such classes for several years until eventually giving up and taking the easy classes. But thanks for clearing things up for me.

My school automatically ups any grades to a 50% if they're lower than that. So that people can still pass if'n' they **** up. Like me. :D

Well heres the thing. If you have below a 2.0 you go to PA where its all remedial and you get no electives. Because there are to many students, 2.0s will go to PA and lose electives, but 1.1s get to continue as normal. 5000 f***ing students man. 4200 last year. See the problem?

Yes! It all makes sense now! Thank you, C-Man! I would kiss you, but I know you'd just cheat on me in a week or so...
I mean...
I'm not that kind of guy...

And yes, ZKX, I see. Wait, no I don't! Your school district is fuckin' retarded! Who in the hell PASSES 1.1 (I assume that's GPA) instead of 2.0?! Do it the other way around! Dumb-asses!

We call GT Honors in my school. We have AP as well, but we don't have anything like IB. Wow, so you took both calculus courses before graduating? Cool. In order to do that, I would have had to double up this year with analysis, but I didn't do... quite well enough in Algebra 2 to do that. Meh, I'm happy where I am. One AP calc class suits me just fine. And, in response to your statement before, I will put out the effort. Can I turn to you for help? ;) Jk.
