Download a font packet patch for MS Mincho and MS Gothic. RM 2000 font is like, anti-proportional.

This is an old screen, but here's the font with one of the many fixes out there.



Also, one way to get the fix, would be to download my game's RTP and copy it into your game's rtp folder. Someone said they did this and got my fonts/icons.

To Anubis: It's hard to simply explain how to do good mapping. But, if you understand how chipsets work and should generally be used you're maps should improve. From there develop your own style.

I tried something new today with Mac and Blue's forest chipset. Do you guys think the red leafs that hangs from the tree even slightly adds more feeling to the place?

It looks fine. It doesn't look that great, but it's passable...

This is complicated. I see what you're doing, but it doesn't look that great to me. I like the forest though.

Yeah, computer screen. I've been ripping a lot of ideas off of this German game that AceofSpades showed me.

And, I like it Robbie. Though, IMO, it doesn't look like leafs. Looks more like vines to me. I think that if you made a big forest and used a program to makes some lighting effects that it would look pretty sweet.

Not just yet. I wanna see if I'm going in the right direction. I'm trying to limit the number of games my chipsets use. I'm only really using Rudra and Bahamut Lagoon in this shot. The SoE palm trees and the grass were just accidents.

It's a cathedral. It's important that it look like one. Does it look like a church so far? *crosses fingers.

If not, what would you improve on? When I get the general hang of it, then I'll put in the detail. The rain, the shadows, that kind of stuff.

It looks nice and slightly evil. I can just imagine that LttP Ganon's tower music playing. Doooodoooo....doo-doo-doo noo nawh neuuuu dooooo...doo doo-doo doo doo doo dooooooo doo-doo doooo dooo dunt DOOOOOOOO!

Palm trees and flowers made me laugh. It's just so out of place.

I'm sure you're already gonna do this, but take out the flowers and tree. The grass actually looks fine.

I really like that though. It'd be nice to have that chipset, but I could understand if you want to keep it just for your game.

Lastly, I would put stained glass in the areas I circled below. It would add an excellent touch.
