 :]] Thanks Meis.
But yeah, I have learned to use those chipsets to their full abilities.  If you'd like me to post some examples of my inners, just let me know.  Or, check out my game thread.  Either or.

Dude, where did you get that chipset? How did you add the shadows? You are genius.

A purple, orange, pinky-green sunset in the distance. It would just set the mood perfectly.

It's really great that you want to make comments on these things, but try to save your comments for more recent things. The screens you just commented on were made months ago.

Try to make your comments on the higher page numbers from now on :)

I completely forgot to do this.
Anyway. I decided to use FSM stuff, and some other stuff I've found that looks FSM-ish... anyway... here's a screenshot of that one room with a bit o' text that i was going to post a long time ago...

(Things changed since this screen: Text font, where the teddy bear is, and I think thats it...

^it's looking good actually, but it would be better if we could see the full map, without the text bit covering the lower part.

Btw, I think you should get a new font, that one looks too mashed and hard to read. I actually thought he was saying "fell her" instead of "tell her".

Ah, my mistake, I misunderstood he had already posted a different screenshot, and this one had another font.

oh fewey (sp?).  What I thought would make the text normal again didn't work.  (It worked on a different computer...)
Does anyone have the font patch?  (RPG Advocate version)
Thanks.  I posted a different version of the map with the different chipset with no message box, but all you're missing is some empty space. :)

Google RPG Maker 2003 Resources.

A site with "Crank" in the url will have what you are looking for.

The site you are referring to is www.crankeye.com

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w44/GuardianDaniel/Random%20Things/RealCBS.png

This is something I've been messing with.

It's not much yet, but I'm posting on opinions of what style of graphics to use. I was thinking of Rudra or even Minish Cap graphics. Any suggestions?

Actually, the graphics you have now are pretty good.

As to the hud, a little more design than just a plain color might be nice. Also, a bit of trans would be cool as well.

Ummm, you can't post that link because it has downloads to RPG Maker. That's the reason I didn't put the link in my above post.

To Dragoon: After messing around with graphics, I've found out the following sets work best:

Enterbrain Add-On
Rudra's Treasure
Final Fantasy 1 & 2
Bahamut Lagoon (With Effort)

Seiken Densetsu
Terranigma
Pokemon
Secret of Mana (Certain Sets)

Theodore/Refmap/Zelda should each be left alone as they don't seem to match anything...

The chipsets I'm making use the topset. I've been working like hell on them and yet I can't make screens...

I mix Rudra colors/tiles with SD3 tileshades. Works for me.

I have yet to find anything but enemies from bahamut lagoon

@Meiscool: I was actually referring to characters to use in battle

@aboutasoandthis: I've copied the list and I plan on looking at each tomorrow after school
