I was at the guitarist in my old band's house, and his little brother had RM2k, and I tried it out and loved it. I came home and Downloaded it, and was lookin for resources and came here... the end of the heroic tale :P

My tale's still better. Because it's legendary.

searched ascii on google for boredom because looking for info on rpg maker ps after playing some knights quest game or something, don't remember. thats when the tale.......ah forget it. as i was saying, after that i found don miguel having a illegally translated download of rm2k. and so on. Then RPG Advocate
came along and translated rm2k3, since don was in jail or something, i don't know. Thus the new generation of RPG Maker was born with such classic rpg maker games. And my "incomplete projects that keep restarting itself" thats strange, because i suck. but love to search and "save as" resources on sites. I mostly go to those Japanese ones, well and the main site monitor now temporary down, or forever. Since i enjoy people's games and community, and try to at least improve on making more then a two map project and scrapping after. and repeating process.  _sweat_

and thus how the benos tale started, then a evil warlord took over the lands in 1,000 years cliche time. kidding.

My friend gave it to me, he'd just found it. We worked everything out together. I took a while to work out how to make seperate rooms, I thought everthing had to on the world map >.>

I saw an ad for the playstation one in a Tips and Tricks magazine and I bought it as soon as it came out. A little while later, I was looking on google for cheats for rpg maker (now that I think about it, it doesn't make much sence...), but anyway, I heard about rm2k that way. A couple of months later, I actually found the download for it, and I was on my way.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Kazaa (Before I learned of how sucky it was...approximatly 4 years ago when 2000 was still new, and I wasn't aware of the "legality" of it.

A friend introduced me to rm2k three years ago. I've no clue where he got it from though. I found rm2k3 on google half a year later and joined Charas.
