Battle Charas Piece Requests
« on: July 01, 2006, 12:20:48 AM »
Hey anybody,

Do any of you think you could make some long male hair and some angel wings for the BattleGen?  I'm trying to make a battle chara for my main character Alastor, but I haven't seen any long hair or wings in the battle thing for me to use...  so, if anyone could whip some of those up in paint or whatever real quick,  i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Emerates

I'm pretty sure that the genorator has the wings.

Yeh, I almost forgot...

If anyone actually does make 'em, you can mail them to me or just put them on Charas.

My e'mail is Emerates07@aol.com
So if you'd be so kind, that's where you could send them there.

Thanks,
-Emerates *oi*

I just checked the BattleGen and there aren't any in there....
I'm not talking about the Sprite thing, I'm talking about the battle character thing.  I don't know if you misunderstood or w/e, but there aren't any in the BattleCharSet part... and that's the part i need the wings and hair for.

Whoa, i sound kinda like a prick.....  sorry, didn't mean to come off that way....   :x

Err.. what is this doing in the games thread? Shouldn't it be in the requests thread?

Tip: RTP is a bad idea.. don't use it make your own characters

It's not RTP if it's made with the Genorator. It's just RTP looking.

Anyways newbie, this should've been made in the request thread, or possibly some other thread dealing with the genorator. PM a moderator and ask them to move it there for you.

EDIT: Also, from now on, please don't double post. At the bottom of your post you will find a button saying "edit" press that and you can add to your previous message.

well thank you, Meiscool, for noticing my newbieism.  since I have no idea what i'm doing or how to change any of the forum type things,  you lost me.  besides,  i also don't know what RTP or any of that is, so please varify....  i'm a n00b, remember?

Anyways,  I don't think the important thing is where my bulletin is posted.  Rather, the important thing is whether or not anyone is gonna help me out with my requests or not.

I'm not a mod and I haven't been here as long as Meis, but I can probably help.

RTP means Run Time Package. RTP means the pre-set charasets, chipsets, music, graphics, sound, etc. that come with RPG Maker. Some games use it well, but it is generally looked down upon by other people.

PM means Personal Message. Like Meis said, there is a little blue toolbar under every single post. On the far end, you'll see a label "Message." Clicking on this and sending a message here sends a Personal Message to that person.

A mod is a Moderator. He/She locks threads, sets rules, and generally helps people. At the main page of this forum, you should see their names next to the Forum Section they moderate.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Aboutasoandthis.

Still can't believe he called me a newbie, though....
I'm actually older than him, and he's callin' me a newbie!  God!
Anyways.....   it would appear that no one gets that I don't really care about internet lingo,  I just need the frickin' pieces or w/e they're called so i can finish my battle char for my dude.

Thanks though, you've been  a big help for my small brain.

Age has no effect on newbieism. Otherwise you'd see 80 year old people who, after seeing a computer for the first time in their life, run around yelling "I am l33t!"

If I could see the bchar as it is now, I could help.

In other words, you just want what you requested and then you're outtie? Look, have some patience and maybe even a little respect. You can't just walk into a Bank and borrow some money. You gotta get a loan and set up meetings, etc. Same thing, you can't just log onto charas and expect someone to immediately do your request. You reap what you sew. You'll receive as much as you give. All that crap. So, it's probably a good idea when starting something completely new not to expect a lot of immediate respect or atleast be willing to learn.

Blah, I just rambled on for a little too long...
