« on: July 03, 2006, 09:43:27 AM »
MrMister's Guide to kicking *** in the kitchen. I will show you how to cook like.. some kind of.. culinary.. Greek.. deity.. and according to the back cover of Harvest Moon for PS1, ladies love a man that can cook. My experience leads me to believe this is true. Moved out of your parent's and want something good to eat? Trying to impress a date or some shit? Read on.

Part One!

Shiver Pasta of the Wolf+4
Req. Items
olive oil
2 or 3 tomatoes
2 purple onions
5 cloves of garlic
basil
cooked noodles

Instructions
Dump some olive oil in a pan. Turn the heat up high. When hot, sauté little bits of purple onions to caramelize for 5 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in your tomatoes(chopped), small bits of basil, and minced garlic.

Stir in your cooked noodles and some olive oil or something.
I usually top this dish with some parmesan or romano cheese, and I enjoy it cold. Enjoy

Next installment soon.

Part 2
Baked French Toast
Soulbound

cinnamon
bread
some fruit(sliced up)
1 1/2 cups of cream
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
8 eggs
3/4 cup of butter
1 1/3 cups of brown sugar
2 cups of milk
3 tablespoons of light corn syrup

Cut a lot of bread diagonally into squares about 1-2 inches each.
Butter a baking dealy. Put the bread in the bottom with your assorted fruits. In a bowl, beat your eggs, cream, milk, vanilla and cinnamon together. Pour over the bread and cover.
Put it in the fridge overnight.
When you wake up, preheat the oven to 350 F (175 celsius). In a saucepan dealy, mix up butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Heat until it starts bubbling.
Pour over your bready eggy stuff.
Bake in oven uncovered, for 40 minutes.

Makes quite a bit. Eat it with maple syrup for ultimate power. It's really great cause there will be leftovers.
Here's a cool dish you can make with the leftovers

French Toast Sandwich
Jam as much as you can between two slices of bread. Then jam some more in.  Drizzle with maple syrup. Poke a frilly toothpick in and voila.

This one is a little fancier, by now, you are beginning to learn the secret of true flavour. It'll only take half an hour or less to prepare the steaks.

Part 3[Ch. I]
Adobo Sauce
10 chipotle peppers
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/3 of a cup of diced onion
2 cloves of sliced garlic
4 tablespoons of ketchup
3 cups of water
5 tablespoons of cider vinegar

Plop all the ingredients in a pan.
Cook at a very low heat for an hour to two hours, until the peppers are mushy and the juice is decreased to around 1 cup

Part 3[Ch. II]
Spoogy Steak(figuratively)

4 eight ounce sirloins
adobo sauce
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
2 tablespoons of chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 juiced lime
salt
peppa

In a bowl, mix up the lime juice, oregano, garlic, and cumin.
Stir in the chipotle, and add the adobo sauce till it tastes right.
STAB the steaks on both sides with a knife.
Sprinkle salt and pepper, not too much, and place in a glass dish. Pour adobo and lime over meat, and turn get all over. Cover, and marinate in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.
Preheat the barbeque to high.
Lightly brush grill grate with oil. Put the steaks on the grill, and throw out the marinade. Cook the steaks until they are rare. Or medium rare if you're a pussy.

Enjooooy your steak. If you don't want to make 4 steaks(I'm not sure why you wouldn't), you know, divide. That works in cooking, right?

The last one you have to like, go to the store and stuff. This one you should have everything in your house except the chocolate.
This is a secret(using sour cream) I learned from my friend, except he used.. special.. butter.. to cook these.

Part 3
Tasty Chocolate Cookies That Are Good

a pinch of salt
2 or 3 squares(about an ounce) of unsweetened chocolate
2 cups of chocolate chips
a half cup of butter
2 cups of flour
2/3 of a cup of sour cream
a half teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 and a 1/4 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C). If you have a double boiler, melt your unsweetened chocolate and butter together in it. If not, you can melt it in the microwave. Stir it every once in a while until smooth. Sift your flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and put it to the side.

In a bowl, beat your sugar, eggs, and vanilla until the mix is pretty light. Mix in your chocolate goo until blended. Stir in the flour, baking soda etc you sifted earlier, alternating with sour cream. Plop in your chocolate chips and mix it up. Put some tablespoonish size bloops(or however big you want your cookies, you know how the cookie biz works) onto cookie sheets(ungreased).

Bake for 9 minutes. Let them cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Then move them onto a wire rack so they can completely cool down.  Store the cookies in an airtight container.

Easy to make chocolate chocolate chip cookies, they're awesome. Stick em in your facehole!
