So, I was looking at some old posts of mine... and i mean OLD... because I was really bored. And all I can say is... WOW. What a newb I was when I first signed up on Charas. Take a look at my welcome post.

It's pretty shocking. A whopping three posts welcoming me to charas!
lol How did you guys ever put up with me? I saw some other things that made me cringe. So, let's all reminisce about our Newb years, whether on Charas or elsewhere.

Nope, never had one. My very first topic was a request. It was a request, reap, leave thing at first, but I decided to stay once I started making a game. Never even finished that game though. I blame school.

I had a welcome thread. I was a heavy noob back then. My attitude has changed from what I see in that topic.
You know my siggy thing right?

Well, here's my siggy thing when I first joined:
"
W££rd Th¦ng"
Please don't sue me, it was a demonstration.
Anyway, I was a noob. Or a n00b. Or a newb.

I was not a true newb. I was too familiar with message boards to be one.

I was the worst of the worst.
I picked fights with people who were in charge and didnt even know they were in charge. I got uber pissed off because people were jerks to me about the whole BMP crisis. I stole resources. I requested very frequently. I never had a welcome thread. I just started right off with a submission of a resource that wasn't even mine I think. I was the biggest douchebag around. It took me about 3 months to cool down and come back. But now I am a functional member of the board.
(I wouldv'e posted this about myself if I had it before.)

Heh, I don't think I was TOO much of a newb, I requested right away, and pretty much only visited the gaming forum for a while, so my post count soared. Then they deleted a game I played a lot, and I lost a shitload of posts, and so I left for a while, came back, left, and now I'm back again

I was a huge n00b for about 700 posts. I just got into fights and stuff is all, nothing like topic posting and what not. I also didn't know about the print scrn key, or photobucket. Then it wasn't till like 2000 posts where I completly stopped doing what I view as stupid, newbie things.
Now I chew on others for the mistakes I once made regularly. Ironic, funny, and pleasurable.
I made a welcome thread after 2000 posts when Tomi, Rev, and I all realized we never made welcome threads. I think all 3 of ours got deleted as accounting for spam.
