Well I like the heat so I'm not going to complain about that, but this past week in Michigan there has been a DOOMSDAY LIGHTNING TORNADO storm every single day. Many branches have been knocked down in our yard and it's getting to be a huge hassle sawing them up for disposal. -_-

Thunderstorm central in phoenix.

I mean I knew its the home of the thunderbirds, but I ddidnt know three t-storms  in three days could happen.it was just like "o.O;"

Also i heard from my brother where i sued to live that there were tornadoes forming... in a montaineous region! that place has never had a tornado and some were forming but never did.

I think i can pretty much state this: GLOBAL WARMING, coming to an Earth near j00

You have no idea.

So I have band camp this week and next.  People may say, "Ohh band, how hard can that be?"  Pretty damn hard, especially with 100+ Fahrenheit.  So we are outside all day, in the sun most of the time.  I, being in the drumline, am carrying around a 35 pound drum for most of the day, while trying to march and synchronize with 5 other snare drummers, plus the rest of the drumline.  Not to mention running laps and crap, and playing soccer at lunch.  Damn, it's killer.  I think I drank 2+ gallons water all day... _sweat_  _sweat_  _sweat_

Well, where I live (Houston, by the way), there IS no winter. Only a long summer, and a brief fall. That is to say, autumn. And 90+ degree weather is not uncommon. And it floods occasionally. Matter of fact, I live where I live right now BECAUSE of a flood. And the humidity...

DUUUUUDE, I was telling you. They said a tornado or something is suppose to be heading up north to NY. I doubt it will be that strong tho, since it's coming from the south up north. It's not the first time this has happened, I mock'd it last time..and I will again. *mocks*

Yeah. Fat people with chests you would rather die then glance at are invading the pools, right? Been there, done that.

It's the end of the world!

No, seriously, this summer is clearly proving all around the country the threat of the depletion of our ozone layer. One study suggested that if life continues exactly the way it is currently and nothing is done, Earth will be "unlivable" in 30 years. By "unlivable," it means that the cancer rate will be extremely high and much of the population will be wiped out.

I'm sorry if this post was so pessimistic sounding, but the movie The Day After Tomorrow seems to almost be turning into reality now. I have a friend that has the nerve to say he doesn't believe that global warming exists and he has evidence to disprove it. I'm sorry, but no evidence is going to disprove weather charts and multiple studies to me, ESPECIALLY with how everyone can obviously see how weather patterns are changing.

Another study suggests that the ozone could not completely heal itself until 2068, and that's most likely assuming that it starts healing now, which doesn't seem likely since conditions are only becoming worse.

So... what can we do? The end of the world is as inevitable as www.endoftheworld.com puts it. There's no stopping it, but we can still work together to maximize the lifespan of the Earth, so that there may be generations to come. Personally, if nothing is done, I wouldn't want to put children/grandchildren/etc in this situation.

Alternative fuel sources are pretty much one of the most needed things right now, although there haven't yet been any discovered to replace the ones we use every day. So, do we continue this way until we find one? That question was rhetorical. If you've read this post at all, you'd realize I'm thinking no, but I have no control over everyone, only my humble input. I have no solution to what will become of mass transit if we stop using these fuels. Please understand this post is merely meant to be informative and not some kind of godsend.

Feel as you will on this subject. I just wanted to let everyone that I think society as a whole needs to take action.

Thank you. I like being reminded that it's hot by my friends, especially when I'm dying in the heat to begin with.

Pretty hot where I'm at too... it's been weeks since the last time I actually slept in my bed and not just on top of my bed.
