If I had to pick one...I'd say Cloud...simply because his sword is heavy. Pick any other hero from Final Fantasy (including FF12) or the Wanderer from Shadow of the Colossus (my entire family thought he was a she) and even  they would beat those two.

Who would win? Consdering that Cloud has to fight in a turn-based system, and Link can fight all he wants, I say Link would pwn.

Who do I like better? Give you three guesses and the first two don't count.

Which Link? There are, like, 14 Links and 14 Zeldas. But just 2 Ganondorfs. If you mean, like, all of the Links combined, I'd say Link, because he has so many items...including the Ocarina of Time, Master Sword, and Triforce of Courage.

Cloud, no doubt. Cloud was one of my favourite RPG heroes of all time. He has a good personality, and when Sephy forces him to realise the truth about his past it makes for some emotional and powerful scenes. It's quite impressive how he manages to shake of Jenova's control of him, also.

Plus, he appears in Advent Children and kicks serious *** there. Come on, any of Link's moves can't compare to the legendary Omnislash of doom. First time going through the game, my jaw practically dropped to the floor in that final "battle" with Sephy when he unleashes it... I was used to single hits, two or three at most. Roughly 13 x 5000-9999? Amazing.

So yes, Cloud.

I think literally, not in popularity.

If it was just a plain sword fight, I'd have to think Link has more skills in that department.

But if it was an all-out battle, no holds bar, then probably Cloud. I mean seriously, what does Link have? Bow, some fire magics maybe, but Cloud, he's got freakin' Bahamut.

Liek time tr@vlin pwnsxzorz j00! I mean, seriously, since Link has the OoT, he could just stop Sephiroth's Meteor summoning, and blow it up with bombs. Why is it that battle mechanics don't apply to cut scenes? I mean, a WM in FF coulda just cast Stop on the meteor. He could do the same to Bahamut, and just use the Command Melody from Wind Waker to mind-control Bahamut into eating Cloud.

You can't count the time magic..because Cloud can get time magic too. Just cast stop on Link's dumbass and that's that. I dun like link, so I'd say Cloud.. but if there was anyone else I would saaayyyy Kratos. (He's hawt)
