So, I was going to go make my avatar and everything for the banner, but I don't have any image programs on my computer anymore, since I am a paint user. Anyone know where I can find a free legal download of paint or a similar program?

Try Ultimate Paint: Free Version. I don't know how to use it though.

So did you delete it, or did it just go missing?

Theres a good chance that paint is still on your computer. The same thing happened to my gf the other day, she just 'lost' paint, it was kinda wierd.

Anywayz, go to my computer, local disk c (or wherever your hard drive dirrectory is), windows, system32, then look for mspaint.exe. It should be there. If it is, make a shortcut to it on your desktop.

alternatively, Go to Run and type in mspaint

If that doesn't work, then it's not on your system, and you should download it from Archem

Make sure you at least have sndrec.exe. If not, then you have two options:

Audacity: Good recording system with layers, and basic effects to apply to your recordings, such as echoes, pitch change, speed change, speed and pitch change, reverse... Pretty much everything sndrec does, but on some... sort of drug.

OR...

Goldwave: My secondary recording system. If I need to add in any very, very heavy effects, such as making yourself sound like a robot, or some horrible monster, or just have really cool echoes, then I use Goldwave... Along with audacity.

So, you can either get just Audacity, or throw in Goldwave, too.
