Well, as I said before, I suppose that we could use Charas.ex as the legitimate reason. It's a program which is widely used across the internet, and I suppose if we bs it enough we can expand that idea to create the purpose. If there is a forum associated with support for it, them I see no reason as to why it can't be up there.

I think we have a decent case at legitimacy. Charas isn't just a self-contained forum community - we actually offer the charas generators, which are free, legal, and cool.

I think some of you are mistaken.
This is not all Season Three has done.
For some of you nublets, check out the Junk Bin if you want to see what Raffles is somewhat 'about.'

Yeah, you shouldn't have deleted it. As much as I'd like to keep the page on there, I'm not going to stand by and watch our members break Wikipedia rules to keep it there.

There is no reason for deletion. I have it on good authority that this deletion in itself was proposed by someone with a vendetta against the owner of the board. There is no basis for this.- Jude 22:13, 29 October 2006 (EST)

I'm not sure if that's someone from here - if it is, I'd like to know, considering the account page was made during the last month.

If this board is going to be noted for deletion, it should probably be by someone who hasn't been created within the last week (ie, ZodiaccaidoZ) - Razorthe629th 08:57, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Razor:  Lookie here. His user page was created MONTHS ago. This is one of the things I was trying to avoid damnit.

I'm proposing a vote. Razor, please do not vote in it, you've already done enough to hurt our credibility.

It's all well and good that we ourselves know that we have a lot of members and are popular, but we need to prove that. We cannot prove it by all going to Wikipedia and posting - anyone could just as easily use proxies and do that. We can't point to our forum member count - that is original research and could easily be faked.

Wikipedia relies on independant, un-biased sources to verify their articles. This is why every website DOESN'T have a page on Wikipedia. A source from a magazine or a newspaper mentioning the website would be a valid source. Google hit records are not. An article from a prominent website like 1up.com would be a valid source. Alexa rank is not.

Just like it is our right to make our rules for our forums, it is their right to make their rules for their pages, and, quite frankly, they've got the experience to make them. You may think the rules are ridiculous but there have been extensive arguments and discussions on these rules and they are SMARTER than what you have to say.

Now to go see if there's any way to save the page.

They keep the older versions of the pages, so you can just report vandalism and it'll go back to the old version.

Okay guys, we need a picture of Charas on wikipedia that doesn't have a topic titled "NO MORE WIKIPEDIA FOR CHARAS" on the front page.

No, no, what I mean is how to get a fair consensus to keep the page so we don't have someone else nominate the page for deletion - if it passes the nomination I put in for it just now, then there is a much smaller chance it will get proposed in the future.

It's not vandalism I'm worried about, it's legitimate deletion.

Right, right.
Well, if they have a good reason to, then they should.
We don't need a wiki.

Razor removed it because he mistakenly thought whoever proposed it was only a week old and probably Raffles. Or whoever the other person was. I added in an AfD (Article for Deletion [Debate]) to get a consensus by people inside of Wikipedia as to whether they think it deserves an article or not.

He's a lifeless, selfcentered, idiotic nerd with Dial-Up who has sand in his vagina and a grudge against Charas for some reason. I'll even bet he's emo.
