Make it so it's downloadable and that you can upload more than 10 minutes per video and 100 MB.

me and my pals from class are indeed making an upload site. This far we call it Tsharp, allthough there allready are some doctor services called Tsharp, so the name might be changed. Anyways so far we've worked up an upload function which only uploads the file locally (Of course since we dont have a domain nor server). And i catched some real good examples here like: More than 100MB and 10 min, also audio. Think the boys might be interested in this. AND i know it takes lots of bandwidth but somehow it will be solved ;)

Ty for posting and please deliver more ideas!


Edit: @ mrMister: Well its good to have terms of service in one way (Noboby probably reads them ever anyway) but at the same time you automatically agree not to upload files that might make some other guy's eyes bleed.. Well you know what i mean like rascist files or porno etc.. But stuff that we have thought of making it simpler with registration is that NO DAMN CONFIRMATION EMAILS.. They might not have it either but i hate those emails =).. Well we might see what comes, maybe registered users have a chance to upload larger files and maybe have a chance to win the "Most popular video this month".. Or something like it.

I heard YouTube got a new Jordan Capri video.

Of course, I have yet to watch it.

EDIT: Also, dude, the email reg is there for a reason. It's to prevent bots from becoming members and spamming up forums. Other tactics could be used too, like random number/letter passwords and such, but the email thing is pretty effective.

Guest posting, with a ten-per-month posting limit. that way, nonmembers can post their opinions, but with a monthly limit, it helps ward off spammers.
