Fan of neither. Not really much on fan RPs, they tend to lose quality due to creativity limitations in a already existant game reality infrastructure leaving little flexibility and tends to get rather random till nobody knows what is going on since the plot is lost. Somthing like that is the downside of them.

As for 5 paragraph posts... really, you don't want a lot per post but to allow equal distribution to an RP so unless you want to rush through somthing and have a fair number of members then it would work out anyways. Anyways size of a post does not mean it will be of better or lesser quality. Although "oh crap" is kinda not what you want but a lot of garbage you don't want either. XD

Edit: Oh and I am a veteran RPer primarily by the time I have been doing so (since I was 14, I'm now 20, going on to 21). And I can tell you that Charas isn't exactly known for having good running RPs, and if any it is the "dime a dozen" types that either get no posts or lasts a while then drops after some weeks.
