I'm agnostic, which means I believe in a God, just not a super cool dude that poofed us all here and said "be good, pass it on."

One of my parents is a die-hard christian, and my other is an atheist. We have a lot of religious arguements. However, my dad, the atheist, doesn't care to piss my mom off, so we all go to church and celebrate X-mas anyways.

I get a few things here and there. This year I'm getting some gameboy games, as I need something to do on long car trips. Overall though, I generally dislike the season. The exception to that was last year, when things were seeming to go really well between my family and their religious arguements, and by going really well, I mean for once I was winning.

Not to sound offensive, but athiests celebrating Christmas is bullshite. If you wanna give gifts in the name of love and caring, go ahead, but don't say you do it to celebrate Christmas.

I'm an atheist and I'll celebrate whatever the damn hell I feel like celebrating. :)

It's not like Christmas is even about Jesus anymore. It's about eating food, giving presents and being better off than the poor. Sad but true.

(Beginning to sound like a bandwagon..) But I am Atheist too, and I celebrate Christmas just as the rest of my family does. My parents are Christian and my sister is one of those tight-wad ones, where you can't say one word without her arguing it in the favor of God.

It's ALSO about caring for one another, giving and being around ones family. Ignoring differences and coming together as one mass of loving people. (Sorry, I woke up on the cheesy side of the bed today..)

Atiests don't celebrate Haunkkah. Athiests don't celebrate Kwanzaa. Why do you celebrate Christmas? Again, give gifts in the name of love if you want, but don't say you do it in the name of Christmas, because no matter how society changes it, Christmas is always about Christ. I mean, it's in the damn name.

MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!!
take that political correctnessism(sp?)

At my school the get mad at us for saying chirstmas. The day before break I say "Have a good Christmas Break." And a teacher got all mad at me and threatened a detention.

Then it goes even younger. My little brother was having a craft night at his elementry school and when ever we called the crafts Chirstmas Crafts the teachers corrected us.

But anyway, Sleep till 8:00 wake up, open presents, go to grandmas eat breakfest, open presents mess around with presents, go to other grandmas, open presents, eat dinner, mess with presents, eat desert, go home, sleep. my entire christmas schedule.

O yeah and on christmas eve I go to church and my whole family comes over and we do the nativity scene, the little kids like to dresss up and do that.

EDIT: AMEN TO THE ATHIEST CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS THING ZKX (i dont like to do qoutes, im lazy.)

Good thing about being an atheist is that you can celebrate what the bloody hell you want.

Why not? Everyone's being pedantic. If someone goes up to you and says merry christmas you're hardly going to correct them and say "I don't celebrate christmas, I'm gonna give gifts in the name of love and caring but I have no right to celebrate christmas."

Yay for not knowing my own personal religion! :) I'm immune to all religious "insults".

Back on topic:

Yesterday, I just watched Eight Crazy Nights again. I just love that movie. :P

Then I watched Year Without a Santa Claus.

Yes, I did see the American dad on Sunday. It was alittle funny. It's much funnier than Family Guy (all it is anymore is "like the time i...." cracks.)

Ehh... Christmas isn't religious anymore. It's commercialized and most people that get offended by atheists or agnostics celebrating christmas probably aren't even very christian. People need to stop taking things so personal and being straight up tight asses. If I say Merry Christmas, don't get mad at me because I'm agnostic, be happy 'cuz I give a damn enough to be nice! Christmas is about love and giving and all that, so why get angry over the little things that aren't even important in the end.

Last year, in Britain, some folks tried to get the name of the holiday changed from "Christmas" to "Winterfest". They said that it was much more politically correct, but it still kept the spirit of the season.

It failed spectacularly. We still celebrate Christmas.

The point is, just the idea of "Christmas" means too much to people, and they're not going to change that just because some retards say "lol u cant say its crizmus cos sum ppl mite get offendd lol u fukin nub".

Ugh, my pwn supplies are running low. I'll make a better post later when I have more pent-up anger.

I have yet to be corrected when I've refered to Christmas anything. But if anyone does, I'll tell them what they can do with their "holiday celebrations". None of that governmental atheistic crap for me. I'm a christian and I celebrate christmas. If someone gets offended by that, too damn bad.
