It's nothing you did; Mr. Jackson, Mr. Kirby X, and Mr. Is Cool were just flaming each other way too much, so Mr. 2 and 3 rocks had to lock the thread. Got it, Mr. Hero?

The rule doesn't exist anymore and all non-request-related posts are barred from requests. Only problem left is people who don't follow that rule.

I was just upset because I wasn't here to notice It dissappeared. I really thought someone spitefully deleted it. I stay logged on because of my browser settings. I didnt know where that went anyways and I wanted a thread like that to help the newcomers (notice I don't say noob right now?) so they don't fall as prey because they post their first topic as an request. I am sure you all understand I meant well by the thread even after it got locked and removed.

It sure defeated the purpose then if the rule is void, but maybe not because the new members can avoid needless flaming because they know where to post.

Heh. That makes me less of a newb since I almost know 100% of my way around here, but as any newcomer there is still much more to learn. (At least I don't do that first topic is a requst do I?)

My mapping isn't all to hot. Thats for sure.

You're getting that thread confused with a different one.

Yeah, I deleted that because there's no sense in advertising a thread with another thread.

Newcomers don't need to know where to post, they have an easy time finding requests. It's the members that flame them for making their first post a request that need to be told off. That was the whole point of nullifying the rule - the fact that people would yell at others for making a request was ridiculous - we are a resource site, after all.

No one ever got upset just because it was a rule. We got upset because it's just stupid to come in and expect us to make it for them just because they said so.

But yes, CONFUSED'D!
