Well that just makes my chocolate and banana look like crap.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever dated a chick that demands **** to be bought. Hell, one Valentines day I think I made my girl a little clay grim reaper, cute as hell. I always found that if you find out what she wants, and do a good job at making something like it, it pays off.

Of course, I haven't had a girl for what, a year and a half? So I have no plans except crying in a corner and waiting for Meiscool sex.

I'll be givin my right hand a break that night...

Ehh, I hate Valentine's Day. Always have. It's like the day that points to me and says "Heh, sucker, you're not worth anything because you don't have a girlfriend. Look at everyone else how in love we are" Well, screw that.

What I mean by this, is tell the person you like almost every flaw (some flaws shouldn't be mentioned, and you'll be able to tell which ones) and just say those flaws are what makes them prefect to you, makes you love them, you wouldn't have them any other way, you still can't believe that she loves you, ect. Cheesey lines are your friends if you say them with enough truth behind them.

Yes, lines work if you mean them. The flaws things work well also; like if your girl doesn't like her frizzy hair, say it's cute or something. That usually works for me.

But yea, it does depend on your gf's personality. You can probably tell if she doesnt like this kinda stuff right off the bat.

OR, SINCE YOU'RE IN TOWN, I COULD GIVE YOU SOME OF MY STUFF AND YOU CAN TELL HER IT COSTS ALOT.[/B]

Or we could spend the day together?

To my dismay, I was trying to set up a date with me and this girl, but she already had plans with her friends. : My luck is quite rotten, but hey, better than the previous few years.

I asked my bf not to buy me anything, I like simple things. I hinted that I do want something tho, so let's see if he understands that I just want an old fashioned love letter and some down time with'em. <<>> I'll kill whoever cracks a joke! *prepares an auto-kill*

To me, if you have a g/f or a b/f, Valentine's Day should be everyday. Gosh that sounded so overused... -_-

I'm with you, it's a commercial day. That's why  I'm not gonna learn that song by this wednesday, but just try it overall.

You're kidding right?  If he is a guy he is not going to understand subtle clues and nuances. He's either going to get you nothing, and have no idea why you are disapointed, or he's going to go out and get you something anyway. From what I've seen from my sisters, my experiences, and any female friends of mine, being subtle never pays off.  However, sometimes you do get lucky and find a smart guy, so here's hoping.

Anyway,  I've always thought they need a day for the guys. One where the girl is expected to get the guy something.  I mean, when you lok at sweetest day, and valentines day, and even Christmas, all the commercials, radio ads, and magazine ads are all geared towards the man buying the woman something extravagant. When's the last time you saw a valentines day commercial showing a woman buying a man a rolex? It's always a dude buying a chick a diamond necklace or something.
