Mapping contest

Ok This will be a normal mapping contest with one exception. I might ask a moderator or some one if the winner can get the abilty to post what ever he wants and also he cannot get banned. of corse it's not likly it could happn. any way here are the rules

1.The map must be a house inside or a castle inside.
2.No image alter programs allowed(etc. idrew, paint)
3.You can use any tilesets
4.The map must be made for the contest not already made or in a game
5.You must pm me or post if you want to join

I'm looking for judges and contestants.
6.iT ends on the last day of summer

It has a long deadline buit It gives you lots of time. Have fun.

1. You're not supposed to make your own contests unless they're approved by an mod/admin.

2. There's already a mapping contest.

3. That prize is about as likely to be approved as it's likely that Drace will become the next admin.

The other thing is that deadline is freaking stupid. We're not slow, man. You might be, but we ain't. We can whip up a great 20X15 map in like 2 days. It's the only portion of the screen you can really see in good detail, after all.

You know, I'm not one for flaming, but this idea's absolutely retarded. The prize is nigh impossible to have accepted, there's already a rather popular series of mapping contests currently running, the deadline's indeterminate (some of our members are in the southern hemisphere, and some of us have a practically year-round summer), and the rules for this are just begging for failed maps due to failed exploitation of resources.

Also, omega, considering that Gamingw.net locked your topic because you didn't ask for permission, posted to little info, and posted your contest while another contest was already in the running, what made you think you could do the same thing here without asking for permission, posting little to no info, and creating this while TWO other contests are already being held.

It's also worthy of note that this forum is for official-ish contests only sponsored by the staff of Charas. Both Meiscool and Glitch were approved for making contests because they showed a moderator (in this case me) that they were giving the contests some effort and planning.

I would suggest that you talk to a moderator if you want to start an official contest and get their permission.
