Well I played it, it was great although the music doesn't work for me.

I like the update with the town map (as I was actually able to find Bluhman's office now...)  and the dodges were awesome as well now.

And well, battles, I love them. Took me a while to remember that you gain fatigure everytime you act, fought the first battles with Brawl only so I wouldn't waste it.

And Everything looks great really.

Although that Washroom thing still kinda freaks me out... That guy is still standing there the next day and so is she...

And well... Um. In the beginning, I got stuck in the edge of the map leading west(left) as I was running, might have been something about that or just bad luck... Well it happened three times so I had to watch that intro three times.

Second... Um, I had another problem after the event at the hamburger-bar-thingy where you answer Dexter's questions about the Fractured Helix and you get chased around by the wrestlers. Well I tried to open my map again to find out where I had to go and my character froze on place...
Not sure if this is because I had the suit or something but the wrestlers moved up to me and began to walk around me while I was unable to move. So I kinda ended it there, didn't get further but it rocks.

And try to do something about the "hitting two cyborgs at two cyborgs" scene, it would be a lot cooler if there was some special effects or such as I barely noticed anything had happened.

Still, it looks great.

Well, about the Bathroom in the college... Welp, uh... I think I'll begin to add more stuff to it after I get later on in production. Focus on the big things first, then go back and insert the minor details. That's how I do stuff.

As for getting stuck when hitting the west edge of the map, did you like get stuck and unable to move, or did you just not teleport? You can only walk into another area of the city on the sidewalk, not the road. That's for cars.

And I'll look into that map issue.

EDIT: Okay. Found the problem. It was in my common event 'Turn Runin Off'. To fix the line of code, simply insert a 'Halt All Movement' process before the line of code that tells the hero to decrease his move speed. This should fix both problems that you stated.

Rm2k3 fixed itself! Then I was finally playing through the game... But when I'm about to fight Nightshade it says a file is missing :o

I can't remember which one. Hold on...

EDIT: Ah yes. "The file clods cannot be opened"

That mean anything to you?

"Clods"? That means I must've forgotten to import a frame into the game....

Well, no biggie. Just put the following image into the /Frame directory of the game, and it should fix itself.

Come to think of it, it might not even be there... Drat you, RMTool, you have failed me!

Well, I finished it. Wow...

I couldn't believe the mind training sequence, that was put together perfectly. congratulations on that.

I only saw a few little problems... at one point Akira calls Bluhman 'Akira'... and in the district with Mays cools you need to make it easier to get to Mays cools, because you practically have to brush past the teleport to the mau district and go round the outskirts to get there, and whilst not being a big problem it feels a little unproffesional.

I can't believe you cut me off just before I fight with Emerald, man. Cruel >.>

The main feeling that I get from the game is that you're still putting a huge amount of effort into it. I have no idea why more people aren't posting here, to be honest >.>

I don't have the time to play this tonight, but I may have the time tomorrow.

How much of the game is actually changed? I don't see many changes other than extra playable characters. How many hours did you add?

Lets see.... Maybe about 20 minutes worth of stuff. Yeeeah, I know. Hopefully, the next one will add a LOT more.

Sure, why not? I'm still working on it. Just have been VERY busy with production of a musical and a VERY tough AP class.

My only explanation for that, as far as I'm concerned, is that you have a wonky RTP.

Really. In my RTP, system2c and char4 are both in there.

Playing through the game, and I can say very seriously, that I'm impressed.  I'll save my full review for when I've finished.

It's pretty fantastic! There were very few things that bugged me. However, the few minor annoyances were recurring throughout the entire demo. First, the game had an awful tendency to leave you off with absolutely no idea what to do next, which I understand makes sense when all you are doing is "searching for clues," but at some points, like when you need to go to the Churchill District to find the dark spot to go to the base, I really just needed to get lucky. I had no idea that by walking in there Bluhman would call me. I just stumbled upon the never-before-seen district after wandering around the others for a bit. Also, grammar and spelling errors are very frequent, which isn't really that big of a deal, but it can subtract from the professionalism of this game, which I can tell you are going for, since its perhaps one of the most nicely made RM games I've ever played! The only other thing that slightly bothered me was some of the pacing. While I understand that it's a big city and walking through it would take some time, I really wished there was an easier way. I mean, with the fatigue system (which is great, don't get me wrong), I couldn't even constantly move fast. I thought the constant text box pauses also slowed things down a bit too much. Without the shift key, it really could've gotten annoying. That being said, the maps and cutscenes themselves were great!

Just to balance out that bit of critiquing, I'll say some things I really liked. I'll try to be brief. I loved the fatigue system. It worked seamlessly with the battle system. I also liked how both fatigue and HP regenerated, so I was never constantly in need of items. However, you still found a use for items in that they were commonly needed in battle, which was excellent. The effects were perfect and matched the equally incredible coding and story. While some of the dialogue was cheesy (Spiderman reference, etc.) it moved the plot along well and included a lot of humor that I appreciated (powerful hands, OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND, etc.), and that's not including the many Charas references in the items and such. The combined effect of everything just made a very engaging overall package.

I would say more, but I did say I wanted to try to be brief, which I'm not actually doing, so I'll just stop here. Can't wait for the next version! :)

Sound: 8/10, the music was great, and fit the scenes perfectly.  Nearly every thing the characters did in battle had a voice over, and even how much you used one sound as something completely different.

Graphics: 9.5/10, I was impressed by the graphics.  Characters, unlike in most games, move to fit the scene.  Examples are Bluhman stroking his beard when thinking, Akira hiding his face, Beth holding her hands behind her back nervously.  The battle animations are just as impressive, particularly Akira's 'overdrive'.

Story: 7.5/10, Thank God you didn't overcomplicate the story with some space-age babble that in the end doesn't even have meaning, and is just a bunch of phrases put together to sound cool.  The characters are believable, the over all plot keeps the player interested.  I was never a big fan of the 'super hero' thing, but this time I make an exception to that.  While the story is good, however, I've seen better.

Gameplay: 8/10, The monsters, characters and items are all usually well balanced, some monsters are FAR stronger than others, such as cyborgs and Bad Lobenstein.  They weren't particularly hard, I was just caught off guard by the sudden change of pace.

Over all (not based on above) 8/10

Thanks. As for Lobenstein and the Cyborgs being harder, that's intentional; Lobes is a ruthless maniacal man with psionic powers! (not to mention he also has super speed capability). The cyborgs are tough because... Well, they're cyborgs! Cyborgs built by the same guys who accidentally made Chisoku!
