Reason why Batman movies ALWAYS suck is cause they don`t stick to the real story (I mean, wtf was that green goo Bane thing??). Same with Resident Evil. Same will happen to Metal Gear movie, if it ever comes out. Same happened to the first FInal Fantasy movie (that had nothing to do with nothing, that was completely random...).

They should stick to the real thing. Spider man never turned emo. He never danced like John Travolta.

 Even so, that was just silly.
 Venom and Carnage should be the only ones that don't affect Spider's spider sense.

 And I'm not sure we could call that a 'suit' he whore. I mean, it was basically a kevlar with a sword attached to the back, wasn't it?

I'm going back and forth on this. While a movie based on something before it should draw inspiration from the original, you shouldn't have to alienate the audience who doesn't know about the source.

For example I liked the Hulk movie until the mutant dogs showed up. I didn't get the father/son I hate you plot. I don't read the comics so I thought it showed a human side to the guy. Most people who read the comics say "LOL FYCK YOU!!!11!!!! THIS MOVIE SUCKS SHYT HE ISN'T BLOWING SHYT UP LOLLOLLOLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!" He didn't blow everything up, which is what the fans want to see, and it turned out pretty badly.

As to Final Fantasy, Spirits Within was bad and Advent Children flat out sucked.

Spirits Within had little to do with Final Fantasy other than obscure references. (The Deep Eyes soldiers being Black Mages, General Hyne being from FFs 3 and 8, the Chocobo on the T-shirt, etc.) They had to fall back on their FMV techniques and making believeable humans with 3D characters. It could've been a decent movie, but they didn't master "acting" like they did in 12.

Advent Children was a piece of ****. They OVER stuffed it with Final Fantasy 7 references, and chose to completely overlook the storyline and the writing. The moogle doll was nice, but did they really need to have everyone jumping over towers? They took Barret, one of my favorite characters of all time, and turned him into a minstrel show. I was half expecting him to come out in a top hat and red lipstick screaming "Ebr'y time I wheel about!"

Come on, three teenagers with superpowers are searching for the head of an alien so they can transform into an alternate version of their idol while at the same time trying to convince a group of orphaned children to join a biochemical cult?  

Even if someone tries to defend this thing, if you tried explaining it to someone who had never heard of FF7, would they get it?

A movie shouldn't sever all ties with it's fans, but it should still get others who do not know of the series interested.

There's my little rant for the day. I thought Batman and Batman Begins were good, but everything else was awful. meh

I liked FF:AC, but mostly because of the fighting scenes, which were suberb IMO.
 I really disliked that most characters almost never appeared, and Cid was my fav. character from the game after all.

I didn't watch the whole movie, it sucked on ice, just like the second one. I loved the first one but I can say this the video game didn't blow too badly I'd give it a 3/5 when I mostly give movie games a 1/5...still wouldn't buy it but none the less a decent rental.

Spiderman 3 = suck. I saw it and I regret it. Peter Parker EMO? WHAT IN GOD'S NAME! But then I downloaded it and didn't pay a cent, but still. 300 was better.
As for the AC argument, meh. I liked the cg, but the story was kinda weak and it being full of ff7 references was pretty cool.
Also, IRON MAN MAY 2, 2008!!! IT MUST NOT SUCK!

Iron Man is the worst super hero ever. He's like batman, all he has is money, but at least batman is cool. Iron Man movie will blow, more then the original Fantastic Four.

 Me likes Fantastic Four. Me likes Iron Man.

 Though, most Marvel movies do are somewhat shitty if compared to the originals. As an example, i was rather disappointed with Ghost Rider. And the Hulk was... weird. Cheap special effects.

 I like all three X-Men, and Dardevil was good as well. Never saw Elektra.

Batman begins is badass.  The original stories are usually corny as hell.  My god man are you NEVER satisfied?

Iron man is the man.  He kicked spidermans + captain americas *** in civil war.  Dont even go there dude.  IT WAS A 4 ON 1 BATTLE AND IRONMAN PREVAILED.
