The Other Summer Movies

I ended up seeing Shrek 3 today. It was good. It had a nice plot, some amazing animation, and some funny jokes. If you're a Disney junky like I am you'll notice a lot of allusions to the original films.

I wasn't really planning on seeing Pirates. It's getting bad reviews from a lack of plot and too many characters.

Anything you looking forward to?

I saw shrek 3, I was disappointed.. It had some highlights, but it also had alot of downers. Of course, I'm a puss'n'boots fan.. so mweh.

I wanna see pirates, I love Jack. Ya can't really count on the reviews to be true.. They gave the hulk 4 & 1/2 stars.

I also wanna see fantastic 2, transformers, and harry potter 5 (I'm a big whore for that series XD)

Pirates was kinda chaotic. It was like 3 movies in one, but not in a good way. I'd reccomend it to Pirates fans..... but that's it. *is a Pirates fan anyway*
I hate Shrek, possibly because of forcible Shrek overdose (long story). But if the 3rd is like the 1st and much better than the 2nd...... maybe.

I recently saw Spidey 3 (not quite a summer movie, but oh well) and went to the opening of Pirates 3 on Thursday. I enjoyed both movies, but Pirates was the better of the two.

Transformers is gonna ROCK. Definitely want to see it.

I was in phoenix when I read it in the papers, they gave bruce almight 2 stars. That movie was great! ;.; OH I wanna see the second one, I forget what it's called.. but this time they're using Noah's arc.

Pirates 3 was awesome, but pirates 2 was better...I felt a lack of coreography, some super cool fight. It HAD a super cool fight to tell the truth, but I wanted to see some 4 people free for all fencing XD

I`m a bit PotC fan, so me opinion is kinda biased.

I went to see pirates 3 just yesterday, and I was pleased with the end result. It's rare to find a trilogy where none of the episodes suck, and I think potc is one of them.

Pirates three was pretty gewd, though the middle bogged down when every character betrayed every other character. Twice. The ending scenes were quite enjoyable though.

Shrek 3 sucked. Shrek worrying about being a dad? Peace and love winning out in the end? Bleh, give those kids a bedtime story for the morals.

Transformers looks SO. FREAKING. BAD. Holy hell, that looks awful. You really gotta be a diehard fan to be waiting for that one...

Fantasic Four #1 was pretty lousy itself, so I'm not holding my breath for the sequel being better. How that even got made is a something that keeps me up at nights, but only for a few minutes before I remember that pretty much any movie gets a sequel made these days.

Dude, that movie looks awsome. I hated the show, dreaded watching it when my brother forced me too... but I really wanna see the movie. GO TRANSFORMERS!!!

I mostly agree with Sai, except I did like Shrek 3, I saw it with my family, I thought it was much better then the second one.

I don't wanna see the Transformers movie, but I'll probably go, just to see if it really is as bad as I'm expecting.

I went and saw Pirates At Worlds End, and if you ask me, Jack Sparrow's video game counterpart looks way too much like Zegram from the 2007 RPG: Rogue Galaxy. Eccept for the fact that Zegram has an eye patch and Jack don't... trust me on this one.

As for Spiderman 3, (I know, not quite a summer show, but close enough ) It was really awesome. I loved it entirely, as well as the other two versions before that. Makes you wonder what happened with the Saturday morning cartoon huh?

As for Transformers, I'd rather watch the same 5 minutes of the worst episode of Blood, or go jump in the river in the middle of winter. x_x

0_o I also had a forced Shrek overdose. Our reasons were probably very different but I feel your pain.
