There's four ways to control the game - the Wiimote and Nunchuk, the Wiimote turned on its side, the Classic Controller and the GC controller. All of them work.

As for the controls, I am so hoping they re-release a gc controller with the same material and color scheme of the wii/wiimote. I'd so buy it for $30. Of course, that reality is all but a dream.

I am almost certain Sonic will be in. I am not that huge of a sonic fan, but I almost like 95% certain he will be in there. There's just too many things that lean toward that decision being made, whether it be past present or future.

That was just a concept photoshop someone did. The classic controller covers that.

Well Sonic has pretty much went to Nintendo after Sega USA asploded so it's likely. Not that I care much either way though.

I'm not so sure about Sonic - they do have Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (god that's a wordy title) coming out, so they might leave all Mario vs. Sonic matches there and let another third-party character in. But we'll see.

Sega. Oddly however they gave mario first name position.

Sonic could still be on Brawl for promotional purpose though, kinda like how Ike is in there. PLEASE LE THIS BE TRUE

Not sure about the details but I don't know if they are considered Nintendo all-stars.
