King Dedede! Awesomeness! Melee didn't have enough heavy choices, and what with the addition of Sonic, I was worried the ensemble would be weighted to the speed side. But no worries! Plus we needed sommore kirby characters.
Who else does everyone think they got up their sleeves? I'm guessing that there will be at least one more third party character. This is only based on the fact that each 3rd party character so far has had a "/name enters the brawl!" vid and, personally, I wouldn't bother with those if there were any less than three to present. But maybe that's just me? MEGAMAN PLZ
Also, I was trying to think of nintendo franchises that haven't been included t'other day, and I remembered: the nintendo wars series! That's been a pretty big hit, right? And I'd be all over a "wars"-themed level!

When I said Dedede was the only character I wanted in, that was a lie. I remembered that I also want Marina from Mischief Makers.
She's a perfect candidate! Her came played on the X/Y axis, and her moves could be something like
B up: Jetpack thing
B forward: SHAKE SHAKE
B: SHAKE SHAKE
B down: SHAKE SHAKE

And her final smash, she could shake the screen and kill everyone. Perfect!

I'd much prefer to see a villain from the FF series, or one of the lesser known characters. I think Red Mage would be cool :

I kinda think now that the "Classic" update is perhaps a blessing in disguise. Take it like this: each stage is based on a game franchise, and the character you fight is randomised, right? Well what about franchises like metroid which have only had one character so far. It'd be pretty boring if you always fought the same character for a certain stage (I'm thinking Dark Samus maybe? Right size. Or maybe a scaled down ridley. Hey, it's weird to think that the entire critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series took place in between melee and now). Even just a choice of two characters is pretty restricting, as in star fox (starwolfstarwolfstarwolfstarwolf)
That or I'm just over-analysing too much. DAMNIT DAILY UPDATES IS NOT ENOUGH. I WANT HOURLY FUGGIN UPDATES WITH VIDEOS

Final fantasy characters I don't think are gunna be making appearances. SQUENIX H8Z NINTENDO. It'd have to be from an owld game or from crystal chronicles...which no-one plays. No, I wouldn't bother trying to get the rights if it were me.
