I remember some guy in the 1970s created his own religion and convinced like hundreds of people to follow him and his god. Then he took "his" people to live in some back-water place down in South America to seperate them from their own society. When the feds finally started to catch on he and his "god" commanded them to drink poison and they all killed themselves.

I forgot what they called that massacre.

It all started after the Porygon episode in Japan when it caused seizures to hungreds of kids and most had to be taken to the hospital. The episode had a lot of lightshow as bgs and was trully epilliptic. (random word) It was then banned from the US.

Pokemon is so dumb now though. And i had always considered MTG to be worst, but (sorry to all fans of MTG) it was very lame. I however still have my pokemon cards and tend to sell them in the future.

Your soul is not on danger. However, I believe that anything you let to be an obsession can be quite, well an obsession. Ever watch "# 23"? YUSH SO much was my obssesion once I stoled a hologrophic charizrd and blastoise.

I am Christian, so I have heard all about this. But I never let it bother me.

But somehow I feel cold. And stinks a bit too.

Was it Heaven's Gate?

The only thing good about pokemon cards, Yu-gi-oh cards, and duel monsters cards is that you can sell them.

Well, if this guy is serious *doubt it* Pokemon is family-friendly cockfighting. It even uses a few questionable images. *Hugs Kadabra, Absol, and Arceus* Nintendo and other companies as well use these images.

You just have to understand that it's a fun little game and cartoon. You scroll through a menu, pick a move, try to win, then walk to the next level. If you and your children are truly Christian you would not let this affect you.

The article sounded like it was written with ignorance.

The people who think Pokemon are evil are the same people who want videogames banned because they encourage violence in the real world. They're also the same people who voted Bush in.
