Hey! Rev just summed up the internet. All three points seem accurate.... unless you count celeb gossip sites.

I know I haven't been here long... but I can't see how Charas is any more or less outstanding than any other forum on the same topic... or even other ones. Maybe it's just that instead of growing up and sticking around, people leave and we get more of the middle-school crowd. Hmm.

You see what I'm getting at?  There are plenty of forums with a surplus of INTERESTING MEMBERS.  I go to many of them already.  Charas USED TO BE ONE OF THOSE FORUMS.  Recently it hasn't been, which is why I'm leaving it.  I'm not asking for a new site.  Os asked for suggestions, I gave one.

The moderation team is retarded and takes itself way too seriously, the members are all socially inept, and on top of that they don't know how to make a decent RPG Maker game.

The logic is that, worst case scenario, the new forum code will let you whine about it even FASTER. (Well, the real object is that more people will make games if they have the chance of being featured on the front page. Or something. It kinda got lost when that giant list got thrown in my lap and I realized what I had gotten myself into.)

Also: You're probably right with that seriously part - it's effort to not lock this thread, but I'm trying. >_<

I really don't talk to anyone outside of charas, except for maybe a few people. So maybe there's outside reasons you hate the mod team so much, but as far as I can tell, I don't see them throwing their weight around or making any unjust and unfair decisions. And as for the community being socially inept and not being able to make a good RPGMaker game, that's all opinion. But what about yourself? If we suck so bad at making games, where's your epic RPG? I mean, I know there hasn't been any good complete games out of charas and it's all been demos, but there are games in the works.

The forum code is something Charas doesn't exactly need, but it's an attempt to fix all the bugs and whatnot and update the interface.

But none of that really matters. My real point is if you hate what Charas has become or is becoming, fine, but don't sit there and blame us for that because you think we're lame, if you don't like the community, well that's your problem.
