I general I'd say I agree 98% with Grandy's post above.
Originally posted by PhayreI loved the FF stuff. Why? Because I continue to be a squealing fangirl. The sequence in Hollow Bastion with one FF person kicking booty for you after another is awesome. I will hold to that until the day I die. Of course, there seem to be more similarities to Advent Children than FF7 there..... *glares at Tifa*But yeah.... darkness/light.... feh. The Organization actually has motive and interesting characters, rather than "I'm evil! Let's make everybody evil! Evil evil evil!" *glares momentarily at Maleficent* The second game's portrayal of even the two groups of bad guys being against each other and Sora having to admit that maaaaaaaaaaybe they have a point is good.As for button mashing.... it's sooooo refreshing. I can't handle any more turn based for a while, after playing FFVIII (has anyone else noticed the whole Leon contradiction in KH? What if he stumbled into Twilight Town and "OMG Seifer!" or Destiny Islands and "OMG Selphie!", hmmm? Only one left, my ***) and testing battle after battle in Ember Sky..... I was ready to explode. And Tales of Destiny spoiled me rotten on awesome battle systems.

However contradicting for me this is.[/B]

They just recognized that they suck at making video games, so they asked Squenix to do it.If you really want a KH game like this, buy a Playstation 3 and wait for Final Fanatsy vs. XIII. It's designed by the exact same team, it's story will be written by Tetsuya Nomura again but with a more serious atmosphere, and it'll have a similar battle system.QuoteOriginally posted by PhayreBut yeah.... darkness/light.... feh. They made that really cheesy in KH2. It felt much more well done in the first. I admit the controls were better, but the fights felt no where near as good as the first. Then again we don't have these. *Spoilers*http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qK0k7fBB_0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVGSRFvA9iQ&mode=related&search=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trwp7-tuBOk&mode=related&search=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk83CY3DW6w&mode=related&search=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU44M1Xw7kc&mode=related&search=[/B]
