Umm... I agree with Archem a billion percent. Best band ever.

Also, FFVII has one of the best soundtracks ever. Every Final Fantasy game that I've played has a great soundtrack for that matter, except maybe FFVIII (and I've played I to VIII)

Why? I thought FFVIII had an awesome soundtrack. FFVII's was good, but not as good as FFVIII's, I thought. Just my opinion.

FF VIII did have some awful songs (Roses and Wine), but its other stuff made up for it.

FFVIII's soundtrack had a few brilliant themes (Laguna's battle theme, the boss battle theme) but too many of the themes were boring/annoying, and many of those you heard the most were (the battle theme, the world map theme)

FF7 goes without saying for me. It's 50% of the reason that I liked the game as much as I did.

FF8 did have some awesome songs. FF9 and 6 did too... and 4 and 5 XD But as a videogame soundtrack designed to compliment a game, FF7's outshone them I think.

Yes, I feel the same. The soundtrack and the materia system is what really made that game so awesome. The battle theme, the boss battle theme, Aeris' Theme, One Winged Angel... That game is full of classics.

I actually like the music a lot in FFIX. Those were great... especially the intro theme and all that.

FFVII had it's songs, so did FFVIII(the Lagunna battle theme is a given). FFX didn't have as good music but some of them still remains in my heart.

Durr.... FFXII you say? NO. I can't remember a theme from FFXII but Rabanastre(wich was a remake of the theme in FFTA) and the Empire song... None of those were anything to jump in you because of.

Kingdom hearts, yeah. Some pretty good songs, like the boss battles in the game, although the disney remakes didn't really live up to the game...

KH II had even better music, the Organization XIII music was pretty good and most themes was remade. Brilliant.

Oh, add Tales of Symphonia as well. Good mucis there.

And add Lunar Legends to the list of most awful game music.

Hmmm... if I had to say anything it'd be:
-Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 (very nice music)
-A couple of songs from Brawl
-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-Okami
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Classics were made on that game.

That's all I can think of right now. Most of the other games you guys put in are some of my faves too.

I think FF9 had the best OST of the games. I mean, Black Mage Village is crazy, but Loss of Me is such an incredible song. Im gonna listen now.
