Anyone know Spanish?
« on: March 31, 2008, 01:03:10 AM »
So I had a girl tell say this to me today "Te quiero" I looked it up on a translation website, and it said it meant "I want you", but then she told me that it also had another meaning, but its a "secret". So umm yeah, can anyone help me out here?  :)

Yeah.... she gave me another phrase and said it meant the same thing and it translated to "I am one loving you", so I think it would mean "I love you", but I dont really know...

She made that pretty clear already lol. But I'm gonna make her wait for a couple of reasons.
1. I care about her and shes a virgin snd I don't want her to do anything she's gonna regret.
2. She's 17... I'm 19... lol

Actually wait as much as you need, be it 1 week, be it 1 year. Though the "wanting" factor is enough to get on to the "Uga Uga Tchaca Uga". In reply to her you can say: I tnaw ot gnab uoy, which is "you look nice today" in portuguese! She'll be flattered as hell.

EDIT: on a serious note "Você é linda" would mean "you are gorgeous" in portuguese, just so you don't think I'm bad and all...

'Te quiero' coming from a girl means clearly "I love you". The direct translation is "I want you", and off translation could be  "I care for you". But it all comes down to "I love you." Trust me.

Te quiero in the spanish language is used as the english equivalent for "I love you".

I am Mexican so, yeah.
