Yeah, when you graduate law school you're called "doctor". It's just a little something to boost up the apartheid around here. Joking...not. Seriously, it's bullsh*t, I don't really mind.

Well, now I intend to go earn money on other people's problems. Seriously, I gotta start studying a lot, A LOT, to become a judge or a public prosecutor (which is my dream, 20,000.00 per month ain't bad money eh...).

Well, I'm focusing my studies for both, preferably on the criminal area. But there is a whole road ahead, about 5 years studying until you have a chance to be ranked well enough on the test.

'Doctor' is a title for someone who's a recognised professional at something academic like teaching or law or medicine or whatever.

Here in Brasil, after you get your first graduation, you got a long way to go yet: "master", "doctor" and then, if you meet the UNEARTHLY requirements, you become a "free-teacher" (that's a pathetic translation and does not express how serious the title is). This last one is similar to the PhD.

So, lotsa sweat will come down yet. I don't care about titles though, I want my eyes to look like $_$

I dunno about elsewhere, but you earn the "Doctor" title when you get your PhD or MD.
