I stumbled across Charas sometime in 03 or 04. I never really started an account until 05.
Some 2-3 weeks prior to my finding charas, I also stumbled upon RPGmaker. It was fun. It indulged my Early-twenties thirst to fart around and make a nostalgic RPG.
In time, I became Active, And found quite a few friends here. I was always one of the older members, but in the past it never really detourred me from Enjoying things. A community devoted to Public Domain Sprite making. I thought it was good all around.
I saw Mods come and go. Admins Quit, and new ones take their place. In time, I was eager and proud to be able to play a part in staffing this place. I wont lie, it made me feel good to give back to Charas. Very Recently I was Made administrator...And I felt even better.

Some of you are perhaps the raddest dudes on the internets. I enjoy the company on MSN. You know who you are.
It seems like every year I get older, and the bulk of the members are younger. I feel very much out of place here lately, and even though I have only been an admin for a short time, I really dont think I will be able to do any good here any longer. My heart is totally not in this place anymore. I still think the project is great, but I feel more like a "old man gemini" then the community deserves.

Personal life is a bit too demanding for me to pretend to be able to get anything done around here. I have a Fiancee, I own a condo that is killing my bank account, Im trying to support my lady through a potential second bout of cancer treatment in as many years, while trying to maintain my own failing health on top. I manage a kitchen and in the near future, pretty much all of my time will be devoted to this. I gotta think about work, and trying to make sure that life pans out. This is not to say I am unhappy. Im a pretty happy dude all around. I just also happen to be stressed

If you havent figured it out yet, this is a Goodbye thread. Im resigning as admin, and as a member.
I dunno dudes, I can spit out all the nicey nice crap, or I can just say screw it, and keep it short.

Uhm, it's always sad seeing an older member go (older as you've been there longer, not your age!). It's even worse if it's a great member.
