That thing is staring into my soul.

Quite striking! The feathers seem a bit too heavily outlined. They should look delicate, like real feathers. But it's pleasingly colorful, and the contrast is great.

Would like to see you push your boundaries. How about some people in action poses? Or a galloping horse.
