I once dreamt that I was a thief or something. Anyway I was in this Kilika(FFX) styled jungle place trying to get to a shrine or something.
But there are these guards walking around with hounds to guard the roads. Naturally, it's impossible to move outside the roads' boundaries(like in ffx) so I have to move backwards until I found a small road leading behind some hills.
I get into the shrine at night(so the watch towers can't see me) and steals the treasure, but all the torches along the road up to the shrine is suddenly lightened and I'm discovered.
I pull a bamboo pole out of the ground next to me as a hound attacks and is able to fend my attackers of while I'm running fast as hell away from the place on that side road once more.

But then I hear this loud huffing sounds, there are two(2) big-*** wolves running at me, already getting closer after 5 seconds.
I try to increase my efforts when I run right into a tree. The first wolf is just some meters away and I try to get up when I realize that my bamboo stick is broken in half. I grab the two pieces and roll to the side just in time to see the wolf rend the tree.

I'm trying to get up as the other wolf jumps up on top of me with one of its' paws, pressing down upon my torso and leaving me barely able to breath as it slowly lowers it's head to finish me.
But I'm able to grab the bamboo stick next to me and drive it up the jaws of the beast, locking it in place.
But the other one is now joining the party and I grab the other pole and drives it through the torso of the already locked wolf, it wasn't easy but it worked at last.

That's when the wolf joining suddenly turn into a friend of mine and asks me "Do you really have to do that? It's just a game, calm down and stop hurting everyone."
The other wolf who I stabbed slowly turn into my other friend, having half-a bamboostick stuck from his lower jaw into the neck and another one halfway through his torso.

I once had a dream in which I was playing World of Warcraft. That was a week before I quit.

I always have nightmares
That's why I exhaust my mind before I sleep now
Which is why I'm posting at 1:24 am

And because everybody else is, I'm going to post one of my dreams out of my Dream Journal. This dream was one of my nightmares, and I actually woke up, and didn't realize it. I was basically sleepwalking. I'm going to paraphrase it heavily, because it's worded weirdly

I thought I had some disease that made some red corrally-type stuff grow on the side of my face and eyes. It hurt like hell, and smelled like dried blood. I went into my dad's room. He had his light on, had the same stuff growing on his face, and said something that didn't make sense; basically dream-babble. I then went into my bathroom, to look at my face, and noted that the stuff was growing about 4 inches out. I went back to bed, feeling my face, when I woke up, still feeling my face, with my dad's bedroom door open, and the smell of blood heavy in my nose. Scared the living hell out of me, especially seeing as it took me another half-hour to realize I wasn't dreaming anymore.

I've had alot of dreams like that; one I had cracks all over my body with some really thick aloe-type leaves coming out of my body
It was some scary ****, at the time

EDIT: Also worth note is the fact the I am mildly schizophrenic. I see little shadows out of the corners of my eyes, and hear things that aren't there constantly.
Just now I thought I heard some roaring from my dad's room

Everyone sees the shadows out of the corner of their eyes, most people just choose to ignore it.

Man, isn't it crazy how you can be in a nightmare, partially aware that it's just a dream, but constantly get sucked back into over and over. At least that's how it is for me...

Also, a pretty old recurring dream for me is starting off in the dream doing something totally fine, but somehow ending up drowning in water. About 60 percent of the dreams I remember end with me falling in a pool/lake/ocean and drowning for a few minutes. Scariest ****, to me.

I tend not to get nightmares. And when I do they end in a hilarious way. Example:
I had a dream I was being chased by some weird fusion of Jason and Micheal Meyers... he had a knife and a machete and kept killing people while he was chasing me... and then I like turned on him, grabbed a gun from nowhere and said "Gtfo." And yeah...

You could take Melatonin. It's a natrual chemical made in your brain, it will help. Also sotp playing video games so much. Trust me, it never helps to play 40 hours a day.

I only play on weekends now, since I have to study lot's more.

And only 30 hours a day.

I don't remember checking the "somewhat fucked up" boxwhen registering here...What it is that happens in here that everyone has got to have a mind problem? Either you enjoy telling people you're sick, or I'm frequenting this mental forum for 4 years!

I mean, wtf? I'm pretty normal here, the only thing I got is hair that refuses to stay tidy! I do have nightmares and stuff, I do talk in my sleep and so on...but who doesn't really?

I remember in that "what sickness you have" or something thread, everyone seemed to be fk'd up somehow...People like to feel sick to feel special, I find that pretty pathetic.

If I say I'm not sick or anything, does that make me special? Because I don't have any of those problems. I mean, I'm just too great.

I do wonder how many people with mental problems have ones that aren't self-inflicted somehow.

I'm an insomniac, but that's only because I'm gaming/reading/working/on the computer up until 5 minutes before I go to bed so my brain never shuts down. And any "depression" that I have is because I think too deeply about everything.

The mind is a retarded tool. If you use it too much, it breaks itself and the rest of your body.

I have the same problems. So it seems I do have some, after all... but just like you, it's my fault.
Insomnia because for the same reason as you, but also because I used to sleep at so many various times (ranging from 12:00am to 11:00am, 5:00pm, 9:00pm, etc.) because I, well, had no life. I've started school back, so I'm taking a routine now.
And well depression because I too think too much about anything, usually when I can't sleep. And that sucks, because sometime I think too much because I can't sleep, and I can't sleep because I think too much...

But beside these, no, I don't have any problems. Or at least none that aren't self-inflicted and/or can't be "cured".

Mine actually look like things. And I keep thinking they stare at me
Bloody annoying, if you ask me

Anyways on the subject:
I believe I have a self inflicted nocturnal sleep cycle, which sucks. Explaining why I fell asleep at 4:00 am

And I am depressed
Which sucks

Uh... I don't sleep right is all. But thanks to meds I do! My dreams are weird mainly due to said meds and excessive amounts of video games. I don't... have much else apart from that. :p
