What's inside the Pokeball?  On the show all you see are a bunch of blinking lights and micromirrors.

I have another one:

How can a PokeMon only know 4 "tricks" and once you have more than that, it magically forgets one?
That makes no sense to me

It's like an animal. Animals have limited learning capacity.

"You can't teach an old dog to sit" For example is a quite good example of it.

Although I believe that some animals have better memories than others. Like dogs vs goldfishes.

Yes, Pokemon are your best buddies. This is why you trap them in teeny tiny balls, which you strap to your waist or throw in a bag, only to see them while you are cruelly forcing them to kick the crackers out of other children's best buddies.

You know what I just realized?  Pokemon is kinda like Fight Club.  And we all know that the first rule of Fight Club is that YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB.

I don't know what you're talking about. I talk about Fight Club ALL THE TIME. On the bus, at the polling booths, in the swimming pool.

It is more like cockfighting, if you were to ask me. Basically, it is just hunt animals, fight it with another animal, capture the wounded animal, and have it fight other animals, continuing the bloody cycle. Sounds fun.

I vaguely remember a snippet from the lore of Pokemon Silver that mentioned that before pokeballs were invented they used to place a "device" inside hollowed out acorns.

Because in poke-land, AN APPARATUS WHICH CAN TURN BIOLOGICAL FORMS INTO WEIGHTLESS ENERGY AND BACK AGAIN WITHOUT ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS predates FARKING PLASTIC.

EDIT: Also; all budding pokemon trainers are such major pussies that the sight of them losing all their pokemon is enough to cause them to BLACK OUT.

That's actually quite true. You see your loving friends fall in battle and then you can't handle it any more.

Each person grabs their respective and slap each others with it?

I can't believe people didn't figure this out from the first time they played it while attending a cock fight.
