I came to charas because it's a place where people think like me and act as a community.

I've had some... harsh... replies.
I's not like we hate you, but nobody really wants to hear about your mopey heartbreak stories. Nobody ever does. On top of that, it's pretty obvious that you were in a bad relationship, and that you're angry because two people you know are now together. It's selfish and irrational the whole way through. Perhaps some of us are being a bit heavy-handed with our replies, but babying you isn't going to help.

I think you're all being rather cold. I mean, I like making fun of people like zuhane too, but he does have a point. Good friends don't go after ex GFs especially when their friends are still hurting over it. It's one of the crappy things about being a friend, having to miss out on a opportunity you want because your friendship demands otherwise. But people that won't do it for you aren't that good of friends. It's a big red flag.

"Don't ever cuff a bitch if she aint yours." a good friend of mine once said this, and it holds a lot of truth. if she's not your girlfriend anymore don't act like she is. because it seems like you're more pissed that he's talking to her because you still like her, ie. jealousy, rather than being pissed at him for breaking the cardinal rule of not going after someone's ex if they're one of your dudes (based on what you said, yeah you're family, but the interaction is more like he's one of your dudes). soo in other words, stop being jealous about it if she aint your girlfriend anymore. but u have every right to be pissed at your cousin for not caring that she's your ex, as well as the right to kick his *** for it.

Well that's just stupidity. So he doesn't show sympathy for your sensitivity. So what? He was at least considerate enough to drop many a hint that he was gonna go after her. If you feel aggressive over that, you're not a smart one.

Not saying you are, but Ace opens the idea or aggression up, and I'm simply saying why that's dumb.

I'm glad some people have hearts. I'm not being emo, and I'm pretty strong and good at blocking in emotions, but we'd made plans for the future
and stuff. Breaking up with a girl is worse than any physical pain you could ever endure.

I've had my jaw broken, ribs done in, booted in the face with a football, been smacked in the balls with a cricket bat and taken it like
a "manly man" and not cried about it, but love's something else. Maybe the majority of posters don't know what love feels like, but I'd certainly rather
get hit by a car or get shot than have to go through heartbreak. I'm not an emo at all, and I've just been told that it's good to get your thoughts
and emotions out of your system now and again by sharing them with people you're close to.

Also, like a few people said, it's a basic code that you stay away from friends' exes. We all stick to that rule and always have. My friends have had some stunners
for girlfriends in the past, but I'd not dream of going near them, since it's just completely off-limits in every aspect!

At the end of the day, people just telling me to "man up" isn't going to solve anything. It's just going to make matters worse. Jesus! Maybe this is the land
of the unsympathetic evils or something, but whenever I know someone who's been through heartbreak, I'll try and talk to them and make them feel wanted!

Maybe you should just lock this thread haha!

No, guy. Man up. I mean, it's over. You lost the girl and you might lose the cousin as a trusted friend. Go through your stages of anger if you've got to but remember the last one is acceptance.

Hey, if you're not with the girl anymore, he's entirely within his rights to hook up with her. I mean, I understand that you still care for her, but you're through with her as far as that relationship goes. Unless I've really missed something, there's nothing wrong with him stepping in and taking over once you've severed that connection. And hey, it happens. Deal with it.

I'm pretty sure I disagree with everything you just said.

He's still in love with the girl.

It's his cousin.

It's within his rights, but it's still a dick move.

Zuhane, would it be okay if I said I was completely on your side and was here to offer moral support without having read what you posted?

Because I can see how that would be a totally sweet deal for both of us.
