I saw Scott Pilgrim ages ago, got the game and downloaded the comics but haven't read them yet.
I disagree, I thought the trailer made it look awesome.

I haven't seen Kick-Ass.

The graphic of the game seems pretty neat and retro though.

The demo of the game sure was impressive. I really want it. I think it helps that the game and movie are both based off the same source material, but they're not specifically related to each other.

When I saw the trailers for Scott Pilgrim, I was turned off by it - I'm not a huge fan of Michael Cera, and the trailer I saw on TV just showcased his "acting". But I saw it anyways, and it was glorious. Michael Cera still sucked, but everyone else was frickin awesome. Vegan TK FTW.

This is beautiful movie! It is so well written and told that the mix of players, countries and languages is easy to follow. I also have to give a plus to the great production, excellent acting and many beautiful scenes.

I wouldn't say cult classic at all. It's far more widely recieved than you seem to realise.

Haven't read the comics (want to, though,) but loved the movie and the game so far.  I also need to see or read Kick ***, it looks pretty interesting.  And it has McLovin in it.
