I can't understand why some people hate it. It must be like cilantro, where it tastes like soap to certain unfortunate people.

Coconut just tastes...off, to me.

I love coconut too. It's hard to get good ones though. Most I pick up at supermarkets are borderline rotten.

I've eaten at 5 Guys.  Thought it was pretty much just your standard burger.  In my family, we put weird shtuff on our burgs.  Kimchi burgers and caprese salad burgers are excellent.

Actually, we have Wegmans in 'chester.  Good coconuts when in season... DON'T EVER GET THEM FROM WALMART.  It's difficult to find good ones off season.

One of my favorite coconut treats:
Snowball cake.  Coconut, marshmallow, chocolate cake and buttercream frosting.  You can get little coconut snack cakes in the Hostess aisle but they're just not the same.

Anybody ever have Five Guys?
It's a burger joint that I've never heard of until it moved into my hometown.
It'll kill you, but oh god they're delicious.

What I just ate though was a basic sandwich.
Beef, Genoa salami, and Muenster.

ed: By "It'll kill you", I mean "It's really goddamn unhealthy"

I actually just heard of them. Apparently they've been around where I live for a while, but they're restaurant is tucked away in a place I never go. My friend went there, said it was the best burger he ever had.


Also, I effing love maple syrup.

The beaver tail looks delicious. But what the hell is the Poutine?

I'm far enough north in New York to have Canadian influences.  Among them: poutine is available in the dining hall after 8 PM.  Only if the gravy guy is there, though.
