Hey, remember that bad-*** game called Metroid Prime?

It had some sweet music.

Oh God damn it. There goes a few afternoons being sucked into Prime again.

Makes me want to finally play with my Wii again.
It's been so long...

I so crazy, but I much preferred the GBA Metroid games to any other rendition of Metroid ever created
ever again.

Super Metroid was my favourite, but the GBA ones come close. Not to fond of the Prime series. Not bad, but I just preferred as platformer.

Order of favouritude:

Super
Zero Mission
Prime 2
Metroid II
Prime (I guess)
Misc.

Other M had a pathetic story and game flow.
Good graphics, gameplay, and music, though.

Prime was definitely a platformer, it was just in 3D. Also, first-person.

I liked Metroid Prime, but I think they should have just franchised it as a new game altogether!

I remember those good old days. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Zero Mission, Fusion, Pokémon Sapphire. Memories!!!

I don't think it needed to be its own new series. It works perfectly as Metroid, just in 3D. It's so perfect that one simply can't complain. Also, the Wii port's controls were exceptional. A Prime three-pack is like a gift from God.

Metroid Prime wasn't bad, it was actually good, I just preferred side scrolling 2D.

I loved the hell out of Prime, but wasn't a fan of the Wii controls. You essentially had to hold your arm agonizingly still to fire at what you were locked in on or otherwise you'd just miss all your shots. It gave me a hell of a cramp after a half hour. Also, the Wii controls simply didn't have enough buttons to handle all of the weapons and movement systems. I kept having a hard time firing missiles.

Prime 3 was more of what I liked, though the best part was the continuity!
What, you mean that the meteors from the first two games came from the same source and there are more coming?! And that the final boss from the first two games, THE metroid prime, is going to be the final boss this time around too, yet all three battles were 100% different?
Freaking awesome. Didn't really expect much of a unified plot from that series - gameplay and exploration moodiness alone more than covered up from a general lack of a story.

Somebody said Castlevania. Castlevania had some great mood setting pieces. Granted, most were pretty tailored and didn't stand alone, but **** they fit the game well.

To be honest, I never tried Metroid Prime.  I probably should give it a shot...

The Gamecube was so underrated. It was like a small bar that only sold a few drinks, but all the drinks
on sale were really good and cheap or something that isn't a **** analogy.

I once considered getting a Gamecube. Then Reisdent Evil 4 was confirmed for PS2 with extra features and I decided against it.
