No, the install disc that I got had an activation key on it (it's cheaper for me to get the physical disc rather than download because I work at a game store). I want to install Skyrim on my other comp but I already used the activation key on my PC.

The disc should've came with a steam activation code, as far as I'm aware.

Yeah, my retail disk definitely had a Steam code. Which you need Steam to use. Steam, of course, being an awesome client that basically lets you be awesome. So try installing Steam on your other computer. Unless you got some funk-wack bootleg copy, you should be perfectly fine to reinstall on as many computers as you can get your grubby mitts on. Well, mostly. Some publishers like to quadruple-layer the DRM on their games, but Bethesda isn't one of them. Hell, they barely CD-key their ****.

No, and that's why every inch of the PC gaming scene has a scandalous sloppy make-out sex scene relationship with Valve's best thing that isn't one of their wonderful games. They get it. Awesome people making awesome games and distributing them awesomely on an awesome service with awesome sales literally everyday to awesomely rob you blind. Sorry, ignore that last part. It's just that I have bought over 500 games because I can't resist those god damn sales! I wonder what tomorrow's daily deals are?
