FF13 was retardtedly stupid. The endings were all right, and I do feel if the battle system was fleshed out further, it would be awesome.... the battlesystem, not FF13. Or FF series overall.

To begin with I thought FFXIII2 was a lo better than xii. But then I realised that there are like 8 areas reused over and over with lightning and tinting changes. Also the medics are breaking my balls.

But with the staggering they added a new dimension to a battle system that otherwise focuses around doing the skill with the highest damage. Much like Resonance of fate and the scrap damage.

Square has been bad for that the last few years.

Anyone ever get into FF14? Worst world map ever. They made it free to play for a good year, because the game sucked that hard.
Apparently theyve fixed it up, but honestly, I felt ripped off when i was playing it for free....never bothered to give it a second chance. Aside from that, the graphics were lovely, but the crafting system was so convoluted I wanted to **** my pants.

Yeah I'm still having problem with other MMORPGs since I played all that WoW. Say what you want about that game, blizzard did a fine job with it. Lately it's been modified to introduce new players and all that though. A bit of a shame but that's how most games seem to be these days. "Easy to get into, exciting to learn and challenging to master".

I cant bash WoW. It was and still is a well built game. Any issues I ever had were with the players. I think too many people set the MMO bar at WoW though. D&D online, and AoC were solid. I honestly havent played many more than that though (that werent browser based)

I'm curious why people react to Mass effect 3's ending when FFXIII2 gives you a friggin cliffhanger at the end. What the hell, it's the sequel and they give me a "To be continued" when I finally beat it. So now I suppose we'll get 13 FFXIII or something?

But they still cant make a sequel to 6,7,8, or 9. I really dislike squares marketing strategy. If there isnt a remake of one of these games on the new generation of next gen consoles, Im gonna... well I wont do **** except for complain on game development forums misc. discussion boards....and probably save some witty marcos pics from /v/ and never use them.

If FF9 were remade, it wouldnt stand a chance these days. Linear story, and a hard-nosed combat mechanic... its simply not approachable by the bulk of todays console audience.

Well it's not like Parasite Eve 3rd birthday did much better.

That guy who belts and zippers everything, I think it was him, he said that if they did remake FF7, they would change everything and it would be terrible

specifically IIRC, he mentioned things like the honeybee inn and crossdressing for don corneo's affections would be cut.
