What's the deal with your name?

So why are your usernames what they are? Do they mean something special to you? Or did you just throw your cat on the keyboard and got a random arrangement of letters?

Me? Green is my favorite color. And when I was creating my internet persona Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven was stuck on my mind, so I became greenraven.

In my case, I've seen "Cerebus" used in various games and stuff.
I decided to use it because it fits my character, as I see it more like a combination of "Cerebral" and Cerberus" rather than a simple mispelling or something.
That's pretty much it, yeah.

Once upon a time on a forum far, far away, I stumbled across a game that involved creating a band name for yourself and the title of your first album. The band name was determined by a random wikipedia search which just so happened to come up with "Natako". Natako is actually some village in Togo, as deceptively Asian as it sounds. I liked it, so I used it when I was trying to come up with a username for these forums.

It's always good to have a saviour around.

Mine is also pretty obvious. A final fantasy geek so PRPL is short for purple, just like BLK is short for black and RED is short for  - wait.
Basic idea was that a purple mage utilized status problems. Square later invented green magic for that though.
Became a title for a group of people later in my games and stories. Good stuff.
Also purple is one royal colour.

Yeah that's also a reason. Red magic is a little of both so they had a little of both as well as status problems. And by the time I created them I thought that blue magic was just about random buffs and status problems. as well as water, earth and wind damage.

DAO are my initials and "man" was added becuz DAO89 was taken.  1989 was the year I was born and there ya have it.  Simple.

I'd like to change it to Ragnell_Lee tho.  Ragnell being Ike's sword and Lee being my representation of me and one of my best friends who is Carter from Rush Hour movies.  Sadly I am not chinese or Asian at all lol.  And you get Ragnell_Lee
