I stopped going here as frequently because newbs were piling in like ants to an anthill. If anything changed, its the fact that the frequency of newbs raised.

I'd say that the biggest change is the strictness of the Requests Board. Which was a good change, because now we don't have to worry about somebody requesting and then just leaving. The thing with newbies though...Well, you're right Col. Mustard that we need newbies. We were all newbies once. But, there's a difference between a newbie and a n00b. A newbie is just a new member. A n00b, however, is someone who is just idiotic, spams, doesn't read the rules, and makes several accounts for some sort of joke..*cough* example would be X_marks_the_ed *cough* Charas has changed a bit from since I registered, but not really. I'm not complaining...

Of course It's changed. And you're right, the number of n00bs has increased very much so. Like Razor said, We have to be alittle more restrictive becuase of the mass ammount of people and how they react (which we all have seen a few times) When charas was small, when gary was a mod, when RRWP was our biggest threat... when     was not such a pet peeve. We could say "hey guys lets have a chaos zone!" but now it's much much bigger, and with growing numbers you have growing problems or conflict of opinion.

Thats why moderating has become a tougher job. For everyone, not just myself.  charas has to change. It's not Better or worse. It's just things that come along with change. We've had some growing pains (weird theme song plays) but you have to accept that. Charas is still a huge resourse site, and the generator has only gotten bigger and newer. If anything, We're better. So I don't see why so many complain.

RRWP wasn't a threat, he had a few disagreements with Gary and Midnight. He was our critic, and he kicked áss. After he left, the closest thing we got to a critic was MrMister.

but I agree with carmen to, if there happen so many things things change, right?
but on this forums aren't alot of people who ask for help er lend  there help out. (first, daily requests at the vgrapers) all the new ones who joined the forum just, ask sometimes for help. but after a week or something, they start to like it here and post topics at stuff like:.. well uhm draw yourself in manga, and everybody jumps at it. i don't think that changing that is possible, but i think that there are to less people left here realy for asking for charsets and stuff

I get what you meant, since he wasn't a threat, like you said, yeah. There was good times back in the day. And then, blau, we had Kai'rou, linkline, pop, wahba (cough cough) and the unusual package of LR.
