A Dragon's World

As some of you know, my computer crashed and I lost all my files. I have an old demo of my game from the internet, but thats it. I was going to move on to my rmxp game, but so many people wanted me to finish this one. Anyway, I got inspired, and I decided to keep going

So I ask of you, please help me on my game, A Dragon's World (previously known as Dragon World). I would greatly appreciate help from anyone for anything. Mapping, scripting, graphics, music, ect, anything would be a big help. I don't think I can remake the 30% of my game that I lost and finish it up without help

Background info: "Dragon Sword Master" is a title given to the four commanders of the dragon army, the highest rank and social status short of the head dragon himself. A Dragon Sword Masters sword is forged from their very soul, and thus their swords are known as Soul Blades. The blade's color reflects their soul element, so if ice was a the dragon's soul element, their blade would be blue, even though their skin color may be green. Since they are fighting with their very souls, the Dragon Sword Masters can wield their blades with a power like no other.

Story: Seven years ago, Zersevick led the Dragon Sword Masters to a small human settlement located in the forest. When they attacked, it triggered a war that would span world wide between humans and dragons.

When the last of the humans from the settlement were cornered, a lone dragon stood up against the others, the Dragon Sword Master of the Flame. However his strength wasn't enough to defeat Zersevick and the other two sword masters. When he lost, his wings were cut off as punishment, and his Soul Blade was lost.

Afterwards, he took up the name DragonBlaze, putting his old life behind him. Without a soul, he was nothing. For seven years he sat back while the war raged, however when he is assigned to carry out a role in the invasion of a major human strong hold, ambitions and ideals from the past will surface. Soon figures from his past will unviel DragonBlaze's hidden past, revieling his true destiny.

The main thing I need right now is maps. I'll supply the tileset(s) needed for the area, and I'll give a little description on how the map should look. Then you can make it and send it to me, I'll then add effects, events, and modify it slightly to fit with the rest of the game. If you are interested, let me know, here is a list of the maps I need done.

Forest town (abandoned)
Forest trail ending with some graves and ruins
Inside a volcano: dungeon
Inside a volcano: town
Mountain trail
Ruins after the trail leading to the sumit, and then the sumit.
Spiritual, heaven like, place

I'll be remaking the town. I need it to have a very specific layout for scenes later on in the game. It'll take me a long time to make because I need a lot of new graphics including catapolts and towers.

As for midis, I don't need much, but it would be really helpfull if I had a few character themes, a sad theme, a dark theme, and a game over theme.

Story wise: I have the whole story thought out, but I would like to get a second opinion on scenes later in the game. They will be major spoilers, so I need a few people for this so I don't have to give the whole game out to one person, rather just give a chunck to one person, another chunk for a differant person, ect.

I'll talk to you guys (Ace and Nandez) on msn when I can get it set up on my computer that I'll be making the game on. Even though I got my computer working after the crash, the system is still far to unstable to make a game on it.

KK, well first of all, when a person is interested in making a map, they can let me know which map they are interested in making. I will then supply the tileset (chipset) that the map will use, and I'll also supply a small description of what the map should look like.

Then the person will use rm2k3 to make the map. When they are done, they will send me the map file (Map0001.lmu for example) over msn, e-mail, or some something.

Then I can copy that map into my game folder, and I should be able to edit it and add events and such in the rm2k3 editor.

No, sorry, I didn't make that one, I'm not that good yet.  :p

At the moment, I'm not using any custom made monsters in the game, I may though soon. I have some examples of the monster sets I made under the graphics part on my site.
