North Pole
« on: October 14, 2005, 09:00:27 AM »
I've seen this many times on the news. Experts believe that in 2006 the North Pole will have completely melted. This worries me.

Firstly, species like the Polar Bear will dissapeer. Which is a shame.

Second, the sea-level will most likely rise, which brings in the thoughts that many places we know shall once be underwater completely.

Lastly, Santa Claus will "drown". If children find out that the North Pole has melted it will do some damage. Unless they come up with that Santa moved to Antartica or Alaska.

If that's the case, New Orleans won't have to worry about rebuilding - they'll just be under water again in a few years. Poor guys.

Well, kneel down and thank USA for not signing the Kyoto protocol. Then hear them complaining about hurricanes. Thatīll go for a long time still.

We've done it to ourselves, and we still refuse to change our ways. Wouldn't it be delicious if mankind was wiped out by the natural defenses and regenerative properties of the Earth because we forced it's hand.  :D

Everyone that's not willing to help should be wiped from this planet.

Well I seriously doubt Earth was a conscious being (that would be SO cool!) that could pick out which people to kill.

wise words...VERY wise words...

if this catastrophe DOES happen to such a rediculous degree, the world would be in chaos with evacuation.

It's not gonna be the flooding that kills. It'll be the temperature change from the ocean currents changing. You'll be Just as or more dead than me.
