me and a freind that also is a memeber of this site (tmlunder) are making a game called "apoclolaypse". its basically broken down into three games, one with a charecter of my design, one with a charecter in tmlunder's design, and one with both of them. each game will tell what happens with each character. in the beggining, tmlunder's character trys to get into jail on purpose so he can find all the weak points in the castle that the main boss lives in. thats what basically makes up the first game, him doing side quests and send information out to me as i start a rebeillion group. thats what the second game is about, me making a rebellion group against the evil king. the motive off my charecter and tmlunder's will be revenge. the king has stolen everything we have worked for and banished us. in the third game is when my character breaks tmlunder's character out and we go in and start the war with the rebellion group and the king's army. tell me if you have any ideas or any thing that you think might be wrong with this story.

its like a lot of other "rebelion" games. the idea is very exciting, the story could be adapted, but the basis for it is very straight forward. i like the idea, ill be interested to see how it develops. Good luck

If you get creative with the first game I'll be looking forward to it.

This game could be really good, but I think what you're missing is history. I think if you added history to the story it'd make the game more interesting. Like, why did the king banish the two characters? What was the work they were doing? Where do they come from? Born? Stuff like that.
It's a good start, though, I like it.

Well thats kinda what I thought. I am making a chapter for the game (that will probley not be ready for a while) thats about the past of one of the charactors. not the main ones of course. And as for why there will banished, ya will find out in the game, or should i say games.

If you read carefully, its 3 different games, and I make all the titles. If...you want, you can be part of my team to make titles. I call it NightmareFlames Productions, witch you will see at all the bottom of all my games that i am making, and darrellito, im not sure what his team is or whatever. But I kinda wanna know how good you are at it first. Let me know if you want to be part of my team first.

Why is it so many people are making 'part' games? All it really does is bog you down and make you feel forced to do three. My advice: keep your mind open to a sequel, but don't be dependent on having it.

From the summary of the game, there's no way you could make three whole games long enough. They'd be about 2 hours each, maximum. I suggest making it all one game, but it's just divided into like Part 1, 2 and then 3.

Games done by seperate people then put together don't often flow well. I mean, you'll have totally differnent items, spells, dificulties, mapping skills, animation skills, monsters, battles, etc etc. You should just have one person make all the maps, one person be the eventer/coder and one person do all the odd jobs like animations, spiriting, and other things.

^ Agreed
My game with True Evil is like that, and so far it is moving along at a good pace, I'm the main programmer, and map maker, as well as story writer, he does all dungeons, battle anims, items, and other random things. It's better to work at it like that then make 2 games that are supposed to be related.

Yea but, Darrellito and I live in the same town. As in we hang out with each other. And we both put togather the story and we help each other out with the maps and stuff.
