Dren - I like the use of the vines a lot and how you linked them with the grass tile.

That T-Rex fossil is awesome, and the tree (bamboo?) background is swell too, but the bricks in the 2nd shot look kinda plain

Mmmm, I sort of wanted the backgrounds to be simplistic so as not to be distracting, but I also intend to have more stuff going on in the foreground, so yeah, at the moment it is quite bare.

Essentially, yes, but it's easy enough to play one player as both characters.

Uh... That's... Good to hear. I'll mess around with another map, maybe a forest or something. Probably more than 20x15, this time. Heh.

Edit: Okay, I done a forest as I promised. I decided to do another 20x15 map after realizing that making a bigger map would be pointless, since I can't capture the whole map through a screenshot. (Bonus: 'Secret' patch of grass where there's a Potion or two in a treasure chest! It's easy to find, just follow any dirt paths that go right into the trees.)

Edit again: They're coming thick and fast now! Probably because it's nearly 2am and I'm bored. Anyway, here's our self-proclaimed protagonist checking out a secret hideout. Smells like thieves' work, if you ask me.
