Thank you. I've always believed in quanity over quality in games. My game is actually quite long.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with MooseT on this one, I'd play your game if you released it. That's a good idea with the broken windows and stuff too, like I wasn't sure what I was going for there, but you just mentioning it makes it clear to me.

Any ways I can improve it? it's too empty.

-I already know the picture covers Elder White's wing, the pictures there until...
-I actually implant the picture on the wall in the chipset.
-What people say is unreadable
-The room's not supposed to have windows or doors except for the exit.
-There originally is a grand door in the hallway below, but Monk Zephr opened it in this pic.

So, on with the suggestions/comments/insults.

There's a bunch of things you can do with that chipset. There's lots of broken pieces and boarder sidings along with shrubs and stuff. So there's alot of room for changes if you wish to make them. I just finished working with that chipset not too long ago, maybe this will help you get an idea or two.

Some Abyss screens. I'll take suggestions, I know I'm not the best map designer ever.

I'll post better screens soon, these were for the games thread as a preview.

^^GOOD! There's a backstory behind the cliffs, they're supposed to look man-made! The trees are also planted deliberately. The whole forest, in fact, is completely artificial. I suppose I should've put that with the images, though, huh? As for detail, I'm not sure what more I can add with the set I used without making it look natural. The forest is SUPPOSED to have a fake and slightly scary look to it...

Roland_Deschain... don't use your game's storyline to try and pass off why something should look undetailed and effortless. I mean, the screens look fine, the top one is better than most the others things I've seen by you, so that means you're improving; but I hear the whole "The map is suppost to be plain" all the time.

If you're going to show a plain with just one grass tile and a few random things here and there... don't. Anyone can do that.

For being RTP, that's a pretty cool way of using it.

I'd actually LIKE to improve the map, but I can't find a good forest set that looks, well, less natural. As for the one plain tile, it SHOULD NOT exist, and I don't know how the hell it got there. The grass isn't supposed to be that.
As for "supposed to be plain," it's not. I'd really like to put more detail in. So far, honestly, I've been putting more effort into the story than maps, I'm afraid. But that's done now and so I'm back to improving the maps.
BTW, here's the chipset I used for the forest if anyone can give me a suggestion as to what I can do to put in more detail.

Right looks more eye catching, but maybe, if this is for a CMS, you could use the left for if the shop is sold out?
