Let's see how you react when both girls are really cute, and one is really your type (and you know it).

So? And why have you just made it your life's goal to make us wheep like you when we get turned down? Some of us are not like you. We handle stuff out own way. Deal it.

I dunno. If we cry for every loss it gets kind of pointless. It isn't like sombody has died, then it would be ok to shed tears, but if it fails, it probably wasn't really meant to be.

See thats where people can really hurt themselves, if they obsess over one thing and it keeps hurting them (and usually others around them as well) it becomes unhealthy. If it keeps failing... it is better to suck it up and move on rather than prolong the agony. Ain't like the world is going to end because of somthing so trivial.

There's a saying for that, but for the life of me I can't remember it.

Somthing like "Life's too short" and... stuff O_o

Edit: Another thing my gnoll character says is "Your never truly alone unless you make yourself alone" as it is in human nature to fear being alone, but are we truly alone unless we purposely distance ourselves?

Edit2: Also I'd like to add how close minded, misused, and cliche the use of "love" has become. People typically think of love as MAN+WOMAN blahblahblah. Get real... sheesh.

Does one not love a close friend? It wouldn't be an attraction like a boy to a girl, but is it truly as far different? If one loses a close friend, more often than not that person would become deeply depressed. There is actually a saying too that says "A good friend is closer than family" or somthing like that. And that is actually pretty accurate.

You can love people, not in the sense of attraction but become attached none the less, a bond formed. True friendship is formed this way. Without love, there is no true friendship. Kinda hard for me to explain, but I think you may get it. Basically it isn't really all that different. But love is more broad than just simple attraction.

With that I finish with this

"Feelings, emotions, sentience. It is what seperates man (humanity) from the beasts. They can make men (humans) gentle, or more fierce than any creature that inhabits the earth."

Somthing like that :)

I agree with DF.

Also, on your point of 'don't you love your friends', I sometimes say to friends I love them. When they look at me weird, I say 'As a friend, of course. Jeeze.'

My girlfriend died in a car crash.
Then another one was murdered.
Yeah so those sucked big time. I dealt with it by doing drugs. Er, moreso.

You do know that those are worse than just being rejected, do you?

My condolences.

Life's too short to be depressed all the time.

Yeah, listen to Sonic... Who are you to tell the younger guys that their love is not real? :p

I like your plan Almie, it's a 'can't fail' kind of plan.

By young I mean, YOUNG. Like, let's say 12 years old? Maybe even 13? I've seen it, and it's stupid. That's what I think. Because when it's over and you get a little older you realize, wow, that was pointless.

The best lessons learned are through experience. Let them find out on their own. Not like they'll listen to anyone anyway.

what are you all talking about? :x

We're all supposed to be completely celibate until we become big strong men who have steady jobs.

And as a reward we will get married to a virgin and have heterosexual intercourse in a missionary position dammit! MISSIONARY!

Point being, the world's a mess, sometimes it's best just to take the punches and move on. Things always seem dramatic when you're 16. Everything s tied into fate, or has a meaning. well I have a suprise, it doesn't. Just live life as best as you can the way you think is best.
You'll be fine.

One thing I hate to see is some guy (or girl) pursue somthing that has failed several times, it just hurts and nothing is ever the same. I also don't believe in love at first sight. It's cliche and untrue, merely fantasy. Unless there is some kind of psychic communication... then I'd have you arrested for being ALIENS! o.o

There are many goofball things young people do just because of a pitfall in life O_o

I've had several friends do that in the past, lessee... there was Ryan, who went Nazi... -_- ANOTHER Ryan who went... evil O_o (Ryans must be cursed) and there was Stephen who went jock, ugh! Some others... bad luck I guess O_o

Or it could be good, I learned what not to do to myself and others that way.
