I personally couldn't watch the whole video, because I do think it is wrong. No person should be able to choose death for another. It doesn't matter who the person is, no one has the right to kill. Now, I do understand that they're from a different culture, but nonetheless, killing is still wrong. And, going on those same lines is why I am against abortions as well. The fetus has life from the moment of conception, even if it does not yet have brain or heart functions. Due to this, I think that it is murder, despite the child being only a small number of cells. Many couples in the world are desperate for children and cannot reproduce, so giving a child up for adoption is better then killing the poor child. I want to say that I agree with abortions in only two causes. The first, is a rape. If a woman is raped, and gets pregnant, the child could make the already traumatized woman worse, driving them to the point of no return. I also think that in the case that the woman can not survive the delivery of the child, that the child should be aborted. But, this second argument is not common, because of a C-section birth, where even the smallest, most fragile woman can give birth.

And yes, abortion is a great thing to discuss...Now, saying animals are stupid...We're the wrong ones in this story Smo...We protect the weak and let our race become weaker. We humans do not look to the future and no longer fight for our species to survive. We fight for iPods. And I`m serious.[/B]

Originally posted by Revolution911BUT ANYWAY, If you're so against killing, no matter how many cells, do you also refuse to swat a fly? Do you refuse to eat vegetables or plants because it was once alive and growing? Do you refuse to eat meat (If you really do I dont wanna hear about it) ? Blah, I'm sure you see what I'm getting at.And I think you fail to see a HUGE part of this debate. THE EXTREMELY PAINFUL PROCESS OF GIVING BIRTH. It seems that EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE in this thread doesn't take it into account that birth ****ing HURTS like HELL. C-sections aren't much better, seeing as the risk of infection and well...ya know....cutting your stomach open and all that. My point is, its not just as simple as "just give birth to it and put it up for adoption." Thats a lot of pain and time in a hospital for a fetus that you didn't want and tried to prevent.[/B]
