AFTERMATH has a ton of potential and I think people will enjoy this game a lot more than my previous titles that never got out to public.

Yes this game has mass potential and I would love to see it finished. I wish you luck on completing it!!! =)

Blood Galore in the post-nuclear hell of a wasteland.   Lance was shredded by a Mutated Mantis.

Wow...
Nothing quite says "pwned" like "Annihilated..."
Ouch

Nice mantis, where'd you find it/how did you make it?

The mantis was from the rm2k3 RTP I got on my download..   Yeah, the wasteland is harsh.

The town of Toyota.

STORY:    Survivors of the war stumbled across this old Toyota car lot.   They noticed the signs all over the place that were not fully burnt from the nukes so they decided to
fix the place up as much as possible and called the town Toyota since it sounded good to them.  Toyota is nothing special when it comes to guards or power but it
is a place to live if you don't have any other choices.

Rat explaining the crappy news.

Gasp! He said ****.

On another note: it feels like the maps could use large piles of trash to block the path rather than some boxes and barrels (Unless it's Sprtite for life). Try to add more... Broken stuff. After all, there was a nuclear war just some years ago.
Hmm, try to search for the future parts of Chrono trigger and i think you'll find plenty of broken stuff though.

And yeah, that's the RTP manits, nothing special really.

Aftermath is a mature rated game so you will see lots of blood and cussing and even sex possibly.   Thanks for the lead on some good broken stuff I need lots of it lol.   If you noticed i'm already customizing my tiles with "Beer" signs and all kinds of other stuff.   Don't worry about the backgrounds and rtp i'll hardly use any of that in the final project.

By the way, if you look on the bottom left of the Toyota town screen you will notice a burned up car.

The characters look, too birght and livley for the setting this game takes place in, for example look at
lance here: his
skin was made dark to fit the setting that the game takes place in. You should try it.

I'd say decreasing the saturation of the charsets would work good enough.
That's one of them good features Irfanview got.

Bright colours and desolated environment doesn't fit to well.

But you'll get a hang of it.

I've de-saturated the sprites and toned down their brightness.   They fit into the world a lot better now.   As for a hud or anything of the sort i'm still working out a skill system or anything like that right now.  I'm not putting 100% of my time into the project because I got other stuff to do but what I am doing is significant.   So far, the game is underway and it's looking to be pretty good.

...Somehow, the aspect of a game being made on RPG Maker, and sex in the same post seems odd to me.

None-the-less it looks as interesting as always.
