Okay! I've got a new picture! No need to worry about arms this time! It's even vaguely shaded!

Another picture! I'm actually pretty proud of this one, so please try not to be harsh if you have criticism!

I'm still standing by what I posted earlier: Your art makes me cringe really bad. I'm not saying you should stop trying (in fact, keep trying. Practice is a really good thing), but it might not be a bad idea if I stop looking for a little bit.

Start by not making things quite as long. These horrific, twenty-foot tall monsters are frightening.

I.... Have to agree with that sentiment. It probably doesn't help me that it's an anthrodog.

EDIT: Smaller head, wider shoulders, shorter legs, I'll update this list on the things you need to improve on anatomically.

You shouldn't come asking for criticism when you clearly can't take it.
They gave you advice on how to improve your drawings, never did they say "dude your drawing sux lol".
Yeah, I guess it sucks when you put time into something only to find out it wasn't as good as you thought... but that's how it is. You can't be perfect from start, unless you're one of the few exceptions. Don't stop because you received negative criticism. Instead, try to follow the advices you were given. That's how you'll improve, not by stopping completely.

Now now, you've done some things correctly. I mean, there are only two eyes, right?

But seriously, feel free to keep posting things, and we'll give you a little bit of constructive criticism. Because, to put it lightly, you could use a few pointers.

Hey, I didn't say I was stopping completely! I'm just gonna try and improve before I post anything else! Okay?

Yeah. That's something the Neopet's artists can't even get right.

Anyways, I would discourage hiding your work until you think you're better. Unless you got a genuine art sense or something hidden within yourself, constructive criticism will help you. You know, because it's constructive.

I know, but I'm still getting the same criticism, so I was going to keep drawing until I thought I'd fixed the whole 'arm thing' (I'm pretty sure I've got more than enough advice on about how long they should be) and then put up another picture. Then I would work on the next inevitable problem. Do you think that'd be okay?

No one commented on the arms on your last drawing. But anyway, yeah, if you prefer to restrain from posting until you think it's fine, then go on. We can't really force you to post them all. But by posting them and receiving criticism, at least you'll know where you can improve. But you decide what you do.

I thought I saw someone say something about the arms... I coulda sworn it! Hmm... Well, I guess not... Also, don't worry I'll submit something smaller next time. I keep forgetting to resize stuff before I post it. :-[

My thoughts:

Those arms dude.
They still seem too short (to me at least).

Agreeing with Archem on the height thing.
It's kind of unnerving.

Shade less flat.
It looks kind of, quite frankly, not too great.

The snout needs more definition.

My head is still cracked up from the hours and hours of mono sleep that I've been having so I can't think of any more.

I think It'd be beneficial if you looked at differnt things that showed you how to draw anotomy. It will take a long time to improve but if your willing, you can do it.

No offense, but yeah, don't post everything. Look, even the best artists draw stuff they don't want people to see. I only post maybe 1 in 20 of the things I draw. It's easy to screw up, even for the pros, but you have to look past each individual drawing and focus on the whole. If arms bother you, do a bunch of sketches where you focus on the arms. I myself went through a year or two changing eye styles before I got things how I like them. Keep up the practice and you'll be embarrassed at things you did a year or even a few months ago because you've gotten so much better since then.
