The only thing bad that I see about enjoying a show that's primary demographic is prepubescent girls is that it is ridiculously hard to tell any family member without them laughing their asses off.

Suited for Success - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmVmtvNju0g - this one is WAY better than it has any right to be. I have no interest in fashion at all. But the banter and animation is just awesome, and the song is disturbingly catchy.

Your milage may vary. None of them are bad.

Seriously, though, I've only watched to episode 6 so far. However, I know there are some Dog creature things that love diamonds in a later episode. I'm quite tempted to make a Cerebus version of these guys. Just because.
Also, there is no real need to tell anyone. Though there is no real shame about it, the obvious reaction most people would have isn't worth exposing yourself. Until they watch the show themselves. Then you can laugh at them.

This show is way better than it feasibly could/should be.

Having the wife of Craig Mc-****ing-Cracken helm the show probably helps a LOT in the quality department, though.

The things I love and hate the most aren't unusual things, but are extremely contradictory and in so I think it is unusual:

I absolutely HATE heights.

Yet I find nothing more enjoyable in this world than a huge roller-coaster.

Actually, I think that MLP has moved from the category of something that it's weird to like to something that it's weird not to like.
